Absolutely new to the hobby. I was wondering if it was worth it to buy/use a prepaid/TRAC phone for any calls made to an independent provider. I don't really see a clear reason to, but maybe I'm missing something.
Hobbyists with wives, SOs or bosses who may or have access to the bill often go for the "prepaid/TRAC phones". If you are single or confident that no one but yourself has access to your cell phone's paper trail I see no reason for the extra cost & confusion.
Yesterday, a provider almost cancelled on me after trying to call to confirm and my cell had disconnected on her because I lost track of my deadline to renew for more airtime.
