I am a newbie who has tried to make appointments with a couple of upscale ladies and they all seem to require references from other providers. How can you get references when you can't get a date???????????

Ahhh.  How to get a date without having references.  This topic has been discussed here before.

Some thoughts.  Look around.  Not all ladies require references from others.  Personal info (name, phone number, employment, etc.) may suffice with some.

Another thought is get approved through Date Check.  It is a reference service that many ladies use.

When it comes to giving out your info, only provide what you are comfortable with.  Discretion and privacy work both ways.  For example, I will never provide work info.  Just my preference.

Be sure to do your research on whomever you see.  Very important.

Good luck.

I am one of "those" ladies who will not see a gentleman without provider references. As hueyfan said, look around. There are a good many providers do have different methods of verification.

Might I also add: try to make your references "good" ones. If I've never heard of the lady listed and can't find any information on her, I'm not going to accept her as a reference.

I do understand your predicament. It's sort of like trying to get credit- if you don't have it, you can't get it. But, the safer I feel with the situation I am in, the more fun we'll have together.

No argument..........it was the egg.

Thank you

Gordo, the key is are you willing to disclose your info?  For my first time I picked a well reviewed provider and did not mind giving her my home address, cell phone number, and real email address (not a free yahoo or hotmail one).  This was obviously enough for her but none of it really mattered anyway for this reason:  When I got to her apartment I never mentioned money or sex and neither did she, I never fanned out a bunch of hundreds.  She simply brought me a drink and there was an envelope on the table that was not there before, no need to mention anything.  We talked to each other for a little bit and all of a sudden she started making a move on me.  Now if your plan is to try and negotiate a better rate on your first time out guess what you may get booted out the door.  This stuff is best left to a later date when you have a lot of experience in the field.  Until we are established and can provide many good references, guess what , we pay retail.

And another thing to consider is the first one you are with will be your reference for the next.   I would say try and find one that is a little more responsible with communication.  The first one I went with responded to my emails in about an hour.  This means she would also respond to another provider trying to check up on me in an hour also.  Now this first one got me spoiled because the next ones I tried to set up something with either did not return my call or got back to my emails days later.

I've never had a problem with a provider turning me down or being irresposible with my info.  I thoroughly research any provider I consider seeing and have only seen those that seem trustworthy and reliable.  Even so, I know I'm taking a risk, but I figure it's only fair since they are too.  I try my best to make them feel as comfortable about seeing me as I hope to be about seeing them.

Oh, and you mentioned "upscale".  Mine have been mostly upscale, too, unless upscale to you means $1k/hr types.

I enrolled in RoomService2000.  For $50, you get lifetime membership in their verification service.

If the provider does not know about RoomService 2000, guide them to the web site.

Otherwise, there are some providers that are not as tough inn the screening process.
