Hi,  

I was just wondering on ways providers screen on TER. For example is someone sends me there TER ID how do I actually punch that in to TER and screen them with that information ?  

It's just something I've never done so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Members have IDs, but if they're not a provider it's pretty useless.  

If you have the person's TER handle or alias, you can go to Reviews > Search > Search By Reviewers, type in the handle or alias, and see the person's reviews, if any, and white lists (if they have any and choose to display them).  Some reviewers put their reviews under their handle, some put them under their alias, and some use both for reviews.  This is where full VIP is helpful.  I know providers who find it useful to read reviews as part of screening.  

You can also send a PM to the person (if they have VIP--if they have an alias, they have VIP for sure), or ask them to send you a PM, to verify that the person who contacted you really is the TER identity they claimed to be.  

And you can if you wish search the discussion boards for the person's posts, to give you some idea of their personality (not foolproof, but might be helpful).

Thank you very much for that information. That is more or less what I thought but just wasn't sure. You provided some very useful/informative tips that I will definitely keep in mind.

and does not have VIP and therefore cannot use the PM system,

ask him to click on the "Account Manager" tab in the upper right corner of TER pages and then copy and paste into an email that information.

In my opinion, if a guy is too cheap to support TER he does not deserve your companionship.
