END OF MESSAGE

I had been thinking of hiring an escort for quite some time and I finally decided a few weeks ago that I wanted to go for it. After a lot of fruitless searching on general search engines, I eventually came across TER. It became evident that there was a lot more to it then I expected. I found and read a few different etiquette guides. I thought I had a fairly firm understanding of what was expected of me in order to make my experience a successful one...

That was almost 3 weeks ago. Since then, I've applied to 1 agency and numerous independent providers, but I can't seem to find anyone that will so much as give me the time of day. I don't understand it! I'm not asking inappropriate questions. I'm providing all of the requested screening information on applications I've filled out. I am not (as far as I know) doing anything that would get me ignored. Is it typical for newbies who are following the rules to have such a hard time jumping in?

I didn't have any issues getting started. However, I did a lot of research and focused on a provider who specifically stated she was newbie friendly. I signed up on p411 and once 'verified', I used the contact form on the provider's website.

If you're not signed up on p411, date check, etc, you probably want to look into it.

Have you ever googled yourself? Anything out on the internet that would be concerning to a lady who will be meeting you alone?

Good luck to you!

I signed up for p411 the day after I signed up for VIP TER, though didn't look at their ads until a couple of days ago. I sent an appointment request about 2 days ago to a provider listed as 'newbie friendly', but I've yet to hear back. That leads me to another question... The email I sent to that provider had a message from p411 in it as well that states a provider that does not respond to appointment requests in some manner can have their account suspended. The etiquette guides I've read state to give 48 hours for a response. How should a client proceed when that 48 hours comes and goes? Should they send another request? When is it appropriate to report a provider to p411? Or is it just better that the client move on?

As far as my name, I can't find anything disturbing when I google it.

Thanks for your response!

You mentioned that you read a few ettiquette guides, which is a good start, but TER's Manual is the most comprehensive and complete.

Read that through first then see if you perhaps said or did something wrong.

It is linked on this page.

I hope you find what you are looking for soon.

I had not read the TER manual until yesterday shortly before I posted this thread. I didn't come across any rule I had broken when I read it. Honestly, I find it a shame that a guide as comprehensive as TER's guide is needed; so much of it just seems like common sense!

Thanks for the response!

It's nothing personal, but may providers simply will not see guys w/o refs.  You have some good suggestions in the previous posts.  Read the self help center several times.  While you may feel you have done nothing inappropriate in your attempts to contact providers, you might have w/o knowing that you did.  Without knowing what you said in an email or text, I can't say for sure.  What questions are you asking?  You really should only ask what information they require from you.

Preferred411 is a good idea, because providers can indicate that they are newbie friendly on their profiles.  Using a site like this, you only have to supply your information to the site and not to every provider you desire to see.  Newbie friendly providers usually ask for less personal info from you than others.  Once you have seen some providers, you will have far less difficulty making dates.

Maybe I've just happened to try to contact those that require references? There is at least one, however, that is listed as 'newbie friendly' that has also not responded. The message I sent her reads:

Hi (her name)! I'm hoping you're available in the afternoon on (date). If you are, please give me a call or shoot me an email. I can't answer my cell while at work, so please leave me a message if I miss your call. Thanks! Hope to talk to you soon!

I am a member of p411. I signed up the day after I signed up for VIP TER.

Thanks for the response!

ask for more info probably *because* they are newbies. I haven't had a problem with US guys yet. The overseas ones prove a bit challenging from time to time...lol!

If you don't belong to any, no lady will see you. Especially mid to high end providers. So that's the first thing you need to do before you get started. Get yourself verified on RS2K or P411.

BP girls usually don't ask for verification info, but as a newbie, you're not ready to go that route.

What does BP stand for? I didn't see it in the acronym section of the manual.

Thanks!

Take this for what it is worth, as I am dealing with a VERY small sample size. So far, I have received replies from 100% of the ladies I have reached out to.  Maybe the approach has something to do with it, maybe not but here is what I have done.

1. I explain my age and occupation

2. I state up front that I do not have the references that most ladies want

3. I propose an alternative method of screening

4. Then I ask whether, based upon what I have provided whether or not they wish to discuss getting together.  I make every attempt to be respectful, which includes the right to say NO, with no need to justify why.

5. Then I shut up and wait.  No hassling and no pressure.

6. When the response comes, I attempt to be responsive and helpful.

Maybe it helps that I am very easy to verify with alternative methods. Also, P411 has done me no good as I have not seen anyone yet.  Maybe it will help later on, but not so far.

Ah. So why is BP to be avoided by newbies?

BP has a tendency for scams and Bait N' Switches.

As a newbie, you might not be able to identify those who are, and you might put yourself at risk. That being said, there are lots of legit ladies on BP. Many do have reviews.

However, as a newbie, it's best for you to stick with well reviewed TER ladies.

Just got a response from a provider and I'm now on her schedule! ^_^ I'm pumped!

Thank you to everyone for their feedback!

Don't get too high or low. Show respect for the lady when you show up, but don't fawn and act weird.

Respect certainly wont be an issue. 'Fawn and act weird'? I think I'll be fine, but what would you say 'acting weird' would be?
