This is a very dumb question, but I thought I will ask anyway. I am to meet soon with a provider, who does not host. I can't host at my home for obvious reasons. I am planning to book a hotel room (3 or max 4 star, downtown NYC) and am perfectly ok with paying for it as well.
My question is - what is the safest way to book/reserve a room, by leaving no/minimal paper trail? Does paying all cash help remotely in anyway that they won't ask for any form of ID? Can I book using an alias name!?
I am guessing there is probably nothing that I can do to conceal my identity, but am not sure if any of you guys think/thought so... Thanks guys!
Usually they ask for a credit card on file for room damages or room service or mini bar or ppv and ect. They won't charge on it unless you something though.
As an asside. Do not leave the lady in a room you've registered for. If anything happens in the room (she could run an incall on you or charges for damage or mini-bar). You won't know until the credit charges show up.
I suggest she rent the room in her name & you reimburse her. HV
You can get a prepaid Visa (Green Dot is one), and put it in a different name. Then, book the room in that name, and use the card to pay for it. I suppose that you could even get a fake ID (like when we were in college) in case they ask for something additional.
I'm not sure if it's worth all that, but it should work. It's probably a lot easier to have the lady get the room, and reimburse her for it.
