Website should take precedence over other rate quotes, unless it is an advertised special she is offering and it's not on her site, just in an ad.

As I've researched providers, I've noticed that there are diffences in the rates that appear in TER reviews/profiles and those that appear on a provider's website.  Since it's inappropriate to discuss fees for service, which rate prevails?  In some cases, the rate differences are big enough that it causes me to move on and not consider the provider.

The rate on her website would prevail over the rate on a TER review profile.

a different time frame, say 90 minutes, when her web site lists a rate for 1 hr., 2 hrs., etc., then you need to proceed carefully.  Maybe something like "I am interested in a 90 minute date.  Can we make that work for $x.?"

Provider profiles are established by the first reviewer and rarely changed.

Yes, this can ocassionally cause a bit of a quandry. You are correct that rates are not to be discussed. The problem is, some women aren't aware of TER, and so may not realize they need to update their rates on their TER profile when they raise their rates. To complicate matters further, there are tons of sites out there who simply hijack a woman's information from sources such as TER, Eros, and other places and create a profile for a provider on their site. Again, if they hijacked her info a year or two ago, chances are the pics, rates, and other informtion on the site are out of date. Some of these sites flat refuse to remove or update their information unless the provider pays for it. Even though we never even asked to be listed in the first place LOL.

So what to do? Her own website, which presumably she has full control of, is generally going to be the most reliable source with regard to what her current rates are.

TER rates are what members reported some time in the past...  Updating can vary.  A lady's web site rules...  unless you see a current ad somewhere.  If so, say "I saw your ad on XYZ" and she should honor that.  If in doubt, you might want to carry the difference in case the ad had expired.

You can get away with double checking her rates as long as you remember to use the term "donation". Believe me, they'd rather you do that than show up with the wrong amount.

All you have to do is ask her if the rates in her TER profile are correct. The worst that can happen is that she tells you that they are incorrect, then you move on. She may very well offer to honor the TER profile rate. It happens. Of course she might not give you her best effort, lol.
