I was curious if anyone has had any personal experience with Ashley Madison website or all these other sites (many of which seem so phony)? You can of course "sign up for free" but all that I've found want $$ to allow messaging, etc.

I just am not certain that in reality many gals would be posting here for NSA short term hook ups. I am of course suspicious of even the potential for who knows what kind of nonsense.

I met some real women off of AM, and slept with one of them.  If you want any success, you'll need to be a paying member.  Know that the gender population on the site is HEAVILY skewed towards males.  It's a real sausage fest, but if you can distinguish yourself with a nice profile and articulate messages, you can find a match.  A couple points, though.  

1)  The quality of the women is nowhere near what you find from providers.  As a 30-something average looking male, I was competing against tons of other guys for the very few 6's and 7's on the site.  All of them are older, nearly all of them are on the heavy side.  There's a reason these women's husbands aren't giving it to them any more.

2)  It's nearly as expensive as the hobby.  In addition to hotel rooms, you need to wine and dine the women, and buy AM credits.

3)  It's a relationship.  If that's what you're in to, then great, but I have enough female drama at home, I don't need another woman needing my attention and getting all huffy because I didn't answer her email right away.

4)  If you want to use AM, here's a tip -- go to your settings, and turn off "Marketing Preferences."  This is where AM sends you fake messages, causing you to spend money responding to them, all in the name of "marketing."  The site as a whole isn't a scam, but that part is.

Ok that's helpful. Thanks so much. I am def not looking for 6/7's and NOT relationship. I am looking for the impossible...a nice looking gal who has no desire to change her situation but wants some excitement on the side NSA.

And I am assuming that some of the fakeish profiles on these sites are total fakes or providers looking for business in a different way.

I've checked it out a few years ago and talked to a few girls but felt I was wasting my time on there cuz I dont want an affair with a girl who has a husband.  

Also, Figure, it'll take a few wining and dining dates before most civvy girls let you get in their pants.   If you got charms and some game,  maybe you can get laid right away,  but even a 1 hour session with a well reviewed provider is a sure guaranteed thing and far less waste of time.
