Best blog of this type I've seen was done by someone who gave FBSM.  She always kept it anonymous, never said who she was, the city she worked out of, or any specifics, which allowed her to be far more forthcoming and open about things.  She could describe both the good encounters and the bad, her reactions to different types of clients, and the 'inner workings' of the business.

Of course, if you just want to stay in touch with your clientele, and offer a little reason for guys to keep you in mind, then just set up a twitter account.  Post the typical playful banter, and a photo every now and then, and that should do the trick.

So I have seen a few places where I have ran across an escort blog. Is this like a diary? I Could imagine this would be a place where a post endless rants. Do the Men hobbyist like that? If so I may and an erotic blog to my website... But for now I'm a little clueless about how why and do I really need it. I guess it's just added entertainment. Please feel free to spill the beans

So, they write blogs on their site.

I follow quite a few of them.  It helps me to know what they are up to so the next time we meet we have some topics of conversation.

For traveling gals, I get a head start on knowing when they'll be in my area.

Some gals can write about subjects that are important to them in a very entertaining style too.

Bottom line:  It can be great marketing.
