Believe it or not, I was once clueless as to how to get anonymity...

I thought I would have to give my regular (which is also my work) email out and therefore I could get traced back.

I didn't want to get a Yahoo or hotmail email address because I thought I had to pay for them.

Finally a wonderful provider told that those email accounts were free, and I didn't even have to give them a real name to get them.  What a revelation!

So, ask the favorite clients who might write a review of you if this is their hangup and show them how easy it is to do.  They might also get hooked on participating on TER and find out how much fun it is.

Good morning to all!  I've been an independent provider now for almost 3 months.  I have really enjoyed meeting new friends and putting big smiles on their faces.  But the kicker is, I have no reviews which makes some hobbyists feel I'm a risk.  This is perfectly understandable.  But my issue is with BP.  I've seen girls advertise services for almost nothing.  That is their personal preference, but I've received phone calls, threatning texts and flagged ads for what?  I have no idea!  I have to find another advertising route because BP is getting to be a little crazy.  I've googled information for sites, but the ones I see look a little fishy.  I didn't realize this business was so cut throat:(  Any suggestions? Anyone?

With CL being off line, a lot of girls...  not ladies...  are showing up on other venues.  Yes, it can be cut throat.  Trust no one where money is at stake.
You shuld be advertizing here on TER on your local board one every 7 days as allowed by the rules.  If you fish in the TER pond you might find a review quicker.   Also it's a PITA to participate in the general discourse here (especially if you are moderated) but it gets folks to know you & might help overcome the no-review syndrome.  At least it has for me occasionally when I'm in that mood.

There are a lot of ad venues...  sorry I don't use any but TER as a starting point anymore.

Also, not if, but when you advertise on your local TER board... be up front about not having any reviews. That way folks won't go looking and find nothing and possibly think you're trying to hide something.

It is acceptable to offer an "intro rate" for TER members (maybe with a minimum number of reviews - say 5) until that first or second review posts. You can't offer services for reviews, but you can ask guys to review you. Hunting here, and giving an edge to folks who review (many TER folks do not review) will increase your chances.

The screening sites like date check, preferred411 or rs2000 might work, but you may need reviews, not sure. Also eros.com, cityvibe, escorts.com and red envelop to name a few. Check your local city, many have local boards.  You can also google the city name and then the word escort and see if you get any local boards. You might want to post this question on your regional  board to get a name. After a session you might want to ask a client if he would write a review. What's the worst he could do, say no.

First of all, your website photos have a lot to be desired.
Not every hobbyist is looking for a set of tits to fuck. Many hobbyists book for more then one item. In other words, we may like a good set of tits, but we also want to see your ass. Maybe your legs and face. The way you are set up now may draw tit fans, but but not a leg man. A variety of pics and poses may open you up to more hobbyists.
I am a leg and ass man myself. However if I see photos of just one or the other, I probably won't book a session. If you can, some professional photos may work wonders for you.

Do work on a weekly ad here. Also participation on your regional board can be very helpful. Keep it to friendly banter and stay out of the drama.

Investment in advertising may be very important until you have reviews. Try EROS. It will cost a little more, but the dividends may pay off.

Above all, be patient. It is not unusual to go weeks or months without a review. Once they start, and if they are good you may be able to build a solid clientele base.

Don't be pushy, but sometimes a simple request will be met with a positive response.

That's the only way I ended up writing reviews.

Also, familiarize yourself with the review process in case they need any pointers on how to do it.

Also, become a regular fixture on your local board and other TER boards.  That familiarity will go a long way towards establishing your legitimacy.

Best wishes to you.

I have been having the same issue... a few regulars, but no one wants to review me, usually citing a need for anonymity (???). It's like pulling teeth trying to get hobbyists where I live to write a review. I'm not pushy; I ask sweetly and flirtatiously ONCE for a review and don't bring it up again...I don't want to be a nuisance... but no luck. Two have said they'd review me, and one left a review on my website--it's a legitimate review, but I doubt many will see it that way, given that its on my site (he didn't want to post it on TER because I don't have a provider number) :P

I will take the advice about posting on here, but I am curious: is there a best way to ask for a review so that it actually gets written?

Hi Serena and nice meeting you:) Yes I completely understand you on this. I've heard guys say they rather remain anonymous.  I've taken the same approach and I have the same result.  Two of my lovelies has said they reviewed me, but I don't see it.  One even said he posted a review, but he needed my TER number which I don't have.  I think we receive the number once we have at least two reviews.  I think that's it, but don't quote me.  It may be in the Newbie FAQs.  And yes the situation is similar to pulling teeth lol, but hang in there and post on your local boards.  But just hang in there:) Besides this site is VERY helpful to the newbies and you can meet great people also;) Enjoy your weekend!

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that. most of my repeat clients already have yahoo accounts, and one has a gmail account... I'll be sure to bring that to their attention, and hopefully garner some online credibility thereby!

to read (pink on white).  I couldn't find any mention of your local area.

I agree with the previous poster in that you need a variety of pics showing your whole body (to determine height), side view (body proportionate and curves of ass), etc.  If discretion is important, you can blurr your face, use long hair to cover your face, or cut pics off at neck and use another pic to show eyes, etc.  A variety of clothing is nice as well to include sporty casual attire, sleep attire, nice cocktail dress, swim suit, etc.

Good luck to you.

Hello there hun;) Yes all of the advice from the hobbyists is VERY helpful.  And yes professional pictures make alot of difference!  I've even looked them over myself and it's missing that "unique" spark.  And the weebly website is terrible lol.  I do plan on revamping my website in the near future;) But again thanks SO MUCH for the great advice.

I agree with mrfisher. Ask some of your very satisfied clients to actually post reviews on TER for you. They are FREE and if a client posts two reviews he could be entitled to free access on TER. I always post reviews on my TER dates - so maybe we can get together some day!!! Good Luck!

Hey Dixie Jay,

I had the same problem, but I'm such an OCD google freak I figured it out.  Eros is awsome! I also use the GFE Club, international escorts and a few others.  If you go to the links page of my website there will be some places for you to post.   Your local boards are a good place to start so you can post your daily or weekly availability, and maybe start an online friendship with other providers.   I've just started posting on the weekly TER board, another provider I met with actually suggested I join (Kylie Daniels, awsome girl!).  BANNER EXCHANGES!  Sooooo important!  You can build a network of working friends/business partners that way.  I have this web provider escortdesign.com that provides really nice websites and you get a 30 day free trial.

I also have the same issue with being new and the lack of reviews, my clients are very much like the ones that you and Selina have described.  I had to get a fellow provider to verify me for date-check, and P411 still won't let me join :(   But the most important thing about this business is, you need to treat it like a business, just hang in there, you'll be fine.

P.S. sorry for writing you a novel
