Rare as you pick better providers, but happens to all of us. I bet anyone having done this for a while has experienced a NCNS.  

It's more common that they are late or have overbooked and will rush you to finish to try and get back on schedule for the next client

It's easy to think back to those occasions with time and travel wasted, the missed opportunities to see someone else and it is really, really, aggravating.  That emotional reaction almost swamps out the fact that most of my meetings go off without a problem (or only minor, funny problems).  That said, like the first responder, I'd guess the real percentage is in the single digits.

Just don't get it. Have had 2 occasions in last month with very well reviewed providers which I was verified and we had many emails back and forth. Then they just are completely unresponsive...

I've had only one NCNS in the three years of playing here...

My response was to leave her a VM, and just went home.  She contacted me the following day, and explained what went wrong (she got thrown out of her hotel because they suspected her, and she shut it down right there).   Met her a couple of weeks later, and several times subsequently without further difficulties.  Just my experience...

The only time I have had issues with NCNS is when the women did not feel good about meeting me. One wanted to meet me out at a local bar/restaurant and when she realized I was just a normal guy [not wealthy and not going to book multi hour dates and travel] I never heard from her the day of the scheduled appointment. I just was not what she was looking for in a client.

The other time it happened, it came out that the provider did not like that I had not seen a provider in 6 months or more and the 2-3 she contacted off my verification site did not remember me. She never E mailed me back to say that, she just blew me off pretty much.

In my experience, even with P411, I had to start with lower cost ladies, many of which are newbie friendly. Once I started to show more frequent activity, not allowing myself to go longer than 90 days between dates, it seems to be easier to book appointments. I will say that I like variety and a lady still may not remember me if the provider wants to call them instead of going off my P411 account, but when using P411 to message back and forth, I usually get a yes or a know either way.  

NCNS means you have a confirmed time and date, arrive there and she is not there. It has happened to me twice in about 5 years and maybe 150 dates. In one case the lady would say she was not NCNS since she emailed me 15 minutes before the date to tell me that since she had not heard from me in the last two hours she was leaving. I say BS since it was a noon date and we had confirmed the previous evening and I had told her I would be traveling in the morning, but whatever.

It is much more common to have a conversation with a lady, pick a time a few days in the future, then when it comes time to confirm the day before, or morning of, the date, nothing. But that is not a NCNS. You could make it into a NCNS if you decided to show up without having confirmed but that seems pointless. With new (to me) ladies, maybe as many as 1 in 4 conversations start okay, but peter out at some point after we picked a day, but before we meet. Something comes up for her, or maybe she is just flaky, or maybe there is something about our interchange that puts her off. Impossible to know, but it happens. As I have said elsewhere, if I am still interested, I will send a follow up email in a week or so saying I am sorry were not able to meet, but am still interested. Sometimes that works, and it all turns out well.

Keep in mind that the ladies have to deal with a lot of assholes every day, and some may make the decision that it is better to just quietly disappear, avoiding any conflict or confrontation, than to say "Sorry, something came up and I can't make it," which opens the door to all sorts of BS, including whining and accusations, as well as requests to make good at a discounted rate.

Anyway, I do find that such things come in bunches - it can happen three times in a month, and then not for another six months. Keep at it and things will get better. You also may develop some sense of what to expect from each lady, and a strategy to deal with the inevitable misses. The first step is to never count on a date happening when it is with a lady you have never seen before. Plan and act like it is going to happen, but don't count on it, if you get my meaning.

And remember that the good ones make it all worthwhile.

it happens on both sides of the coin for various reasons.  Anyone in this business long enough is probably going to experience an NCNS.  Sometimes there are good reasons, but more often there are not.  I had it happen to me a while back, by a provider who has been around a long time, has many reviews but she did it to me.  I posted the story, and told anyone who wanted her name to PM me and I would give it to them.  Many did, and I told them.  

Since there was no meeting, you can't review her.  But you can do what I did.  Post on your regional board what happened, without naming her in public, and tell guys to PM you for her name.  Do NOT name her in public, you never know how she will react.

Now, though, I just want to know why....

happens to all of us.  The frustrating part of it is when you try to contact the provider to inquire if she is OK (she could be in a car wreck or some other bad situation) and she either doesn't answer or her voicemail is full.

A great reason to have a plan B ready just in case.  Plan B might be the next day or night but it helps to be prepared.  

Disclaimer:  Do not schedule more than one provider for the same time.  Sooner or later word will get out and you will be on some DNS lists.

Even if you get a reason from her you wont know if it's the real reason. The best thing you can do for yourself is let it go and put it behind you. Start setting things up with the next person you want to meet.

Hi, gentleman!  I would have to say that this goes both ways.  As a provider we also experience NCNS.  We are all human and things do come up, but I always ask a client to please call as soon as he knows there will be a change in plans.  I can't even count on one hand the times I have had to cancel something due to personal reasons but it was never due to overbooking or scheduling error on my part.  You can tell the type of session you can expect and what kind of provider someone is by reading from the reviews even if you aren't VIP member, and if a provider is new then you might just have to TOFTT.

Had it happen to me once. By a highly reviewed gal for an overnight set up a month in advance. No text, no email no nothing. Every time I see her ads, i SMH

It does not happen that much but sometimes it is a good thing.  Most of the time, the provider may have heard of something bad happening at the hotel where you are staying or even in that particular town.  As a result she may decide to say "she cannot make it".   On one occasion, a provider decided she could not come to see me but she was open about the fact that she had heard of some issues at the hotel I was staying at.  She told me in advance and let me go to her.   After talking with her I learned that often those no show situations may actually be protecting both of you from a possible issue.   Better to suffer a no show than end up with LE drama of some sort.  

On another note, sometimes a lady will not show up because she knows that she is not really what she advertised and she gets a sense that if she shows up and is not looking like she is supposed to look there may be a bad review...In fact, watch out for the providers who seem to call numerous times to say they are running late.  They will show up at midnight instead of 8 pm and of course, the never look the way they should but at that point it is late and you are probably horny so they get away with it.  I learned early that the numerous delays are just a tactic to catch you with your "pants down" at that late hour.  Better to cancel.
