Seems like a simple question, but maybe not?

Any difference besides bulk to offering providers $100's instead of $20's?  If I'm going for a 3 or 4 hour session, that's a lot of 20's!

As advised here, I plan on pulling out $100 here, $150 there, whatever out of the ATM.  But I'd hate to fork over a 1" wad of 20's, but not sure if there is any control or tracking of 100's?  I thought I read somewhere at one point that money over a certain denomination had serial numbers recorded at the bank? Something to do with bank robbery or something I guess.

Really curious about this since I'll be hobbying out of state clear across the country.  Any thoughts?

Not sure if it would matter but some more experianced hobbyists might be able to give you more insight than I.

Normally I wouldn't advise it as it might cause a bad case of nerves for the gal you want to see(any discussion of $$$$), but since circumstances are a bit different than the normal 1 hour meeeting, you might want to ask the provider what denominations she prefer's the gift to come in.

Have a good time and I am sure more good insight is to come.

C-notes are classier.  :) 20's are so.. low brow? I say that rather tongue in cheek, but personally I would feel rather silly handing a provider a fat envelope stuffed with 20's.  C-notes are easy to count, 20's are hard once you get past about $400, so even just for the provider's own peace of mind I prefer to give her notes that are easier to count.

I haven't been to a bank yet that isn't willing to exchange a pile of 20's for 100's.  And if you're withdrawing from your own bank, personally I see nothing wrong with walking up to a teller and making a withdrawal and asking for 100's - that was pretty normal while I was a bank teller and not something we ever gave a second thought to.  It's not their business what you're doing with the cash and they aren't going to ask.

Serial numbers are only recorded if a) the money is suspected of being part of a drug operation, or b) it's counterfeit, or c) it's the money they use to wrap the security devices in if the bank is robbed.  So no, they're not recording the fact that they gave YOU bills #X, Y, Z, etc.  They have no idea which bills you get.  Don't worry about it.

-- Edit:
Oh, one caveat - don't exchange your small withdrawals for large bills every time you withdraw.  That will arouse suspicion.  Do the exchange all at once, and infrequently, or withdraw from your own bank branch and carry the money with you.

Frequent exchanges of 20's for 100's is behavior that WILL get your bill serial numbers recorded if you run into a particularly suspicious teller, especially if you're doing $100 here, $200 there.  That looks like drug running.

Doing it once in awhile makes it look like you're a tourist who used their ATM and doesn't want to carry around a fat wad of bills.

This is probably why it's just easier to withdraw at your bank and carry the money with you.. if you're flying, don't let security see it though.  They like to confiscate large amounts of cash and not give it back for 6-8 weeks....

If I have the time before the session I'll exchange the largest portion for 100s or 50s, leaving the first 100 in 20s.
This way the provider has both some walk'n around money as well as bill pay'n money.

For a single hour, 20s work fine.  An extended stay, requires more planning including the expense account.
I withdraw cash weekly for personal expenses (pocket money).  Only rarely need to top up in between.  Each time I do, I shuffle bills into my set asside so I have the best combo when the time arrives.

getting a huge wad of 20s for anything over a one hour date... for me, even a 2-hour date means getting almost 40 twenty dolar bills... a pain to count and tuck away.

50s and 100s are most appreciated when it's possible!!

You'll find that walking around with both front pockets full of 20's is also a pain in the ass. I have always used 50's and 100's. They also fit into a card much more easily.

As for tracking, I wouldn't be concerned. I don't think that the treasury dept is following too many of us. I frequently drop into the bank when the was of 20's in my wallet is beginning to make the left cheek of my bony ass sore. They happily give me 100's for my 20's.

For me a front pocket bulging with 20’s would be false advertising.

I always get 100’s and 50’s and that has never been a problem at the bank nor with the ladies.

Now IMO asking for a portrait of Bill McKinley may draw some attention at the bank.

Thank You

If your doing an hour $20 bills would be fine for a local lady...If everyone gives you large bills they are at times hard to dispose of and draw attention to you...Every time you go grocery shopping you have to break a 100 or getting gas.. I do like 20s myself

Ladies who travel do need to make their money look less to keep under the radar. I would think 100's and 50's work best for them..

I prefer to use $100 bills.

A big wad of $20's is too much of a pain to carry around and count.

As a provider I personally prefer one hundred in 20s and rest in C notes ... getting NYC cabbies accept 100 can be a problem.  Accepting huge wad of 20s ... both inconvenient and is kind of you know ... low brow.

I plan ahead. When I make deposits I get cash back in hundreds when I know a date is coming up.  I book two hour dates almost all the time so it's just easier for me and the lady.

its all good to me. I usually end up with a variety by the end of the week ...just as long as you bring your smile, charming personality, and that lovely little envelope, 20s 50s 100s all good with me.  I like them all.

When I cash expense checks, I get $50's & $100's.  Also, I will usually put some $20's in the envelope in case the lady needs smaller bills.
