The best tip I could give you would be to read the Self Help, aka Newbie Manual that you will find linked on this page.

It contains a wealth of information about the hobby and TER in particular.

You will find that TER can make your hobbying career a lot more prosperous and friendly if you use it correctly.

Also, become an avid reader of this and other boards on TER.  There is a lot of information on them that will be useful to you.

After a few years of building websites for providers... I've decided to try playing in the field a bit.  My humdrum life is starting to get too... well humdrum.  Any providers out there that would be willing to give a new girl some useful tips?  Or perhaps some hobbyists who would love to share some invaluable pointers?
