A month or so ago I was in communication with an experienced, well-reviewed provider.  However, she dropped off for a month or so and I couldn't find her anywhere - her profile was no longer accessable.  She has just recently emailed me making contact again.  I still don't see her profile listed anywhere.  I asked her about this and she said it because of a stalker.  She now has a new URL for her website.

My concern is, since I can't access all her reviews anymore, could it be that someone posted something about her that I should know - such as an STD concern, etc...  In this situation, should I handle the situation as if she was a brand new provider with no reviews?  I'm not one inclined to TOFTT. Or, is there something you all experienced hobbists know that I can do to circumvent the situation?  Before this change took place, based on the number and quality of her reviews, I was very comfortable meeting with her.  Another local provider had also recommended her to me too.  What do you suggest and recommend?

If you ask too many questions, and share too much information on your local board and PM's, you might open the door again for her stalker, if that is indeed the reason for the changes. If you are that worried about her having an STD, it might be better for both of you to just keep quiet, and see a new lady.

Often for the very reason she stated - some psycho guy gets a fixation on them, and the only way to shake him is to change their website.

Or their family/friends found out they're providers, and so they start a new identity that people in their personal lives don't know about.

Or they want to have a totally new price structure and style, so they dump the old identity and start a new one.

I've gone through more then one incarnation myself. You tell the ones you like because you don't want to loose them.

If someone you trust recommended her, I wouldn't be so worried. If STD's are a concern, pulling her profile wouldn't be enough.  There would be chatter about it between the men, and on the boards, and amongst the women.   That information would still be available for finding.

Please use discretion when posting about her at all and asking the questions.

If she had a good history why be worried about one bad review or comment, that might not even exist? I have all seen ladies with many good reviews have a bad one thrown in for whatever reason.

The STD thing seems like a reach. You could google her old name, that would tell you if she got into trouble with LE.

You could also search on your local board, other peoples posts don't get pulled along with a lady's profile.

Again how much weight do these unseen, might not even exist, comments have?

But whatever, if the whole thing makes you comfortable move on. It should be fun.

A good provider's stage name is valueable...  it is her reputation as a quality provider.  But stalkers or outtings do happen.  A break & reinventing / renaming does make sense.

If you are uncomfortable, choose someone else or circle back later when she has new reviews.

There are plenty of TFL's (Total Fucking Losers) that plague our game, and lady's sometimes have to repackage themselves as a result.  If you can get info about her before she was forced to this, take that into account, and PM anyone who can help.  Just saying...
