The common perception among providers is that BBJ's are highly unlikely to cause STD's because stomach acids are so tough they eliminate STD type germs.  My motto is a couple minutes of pleasure is not worth a lifetime of embarassment and disease.  But to each his own.  Helmets aren't as sensitive but they sure are safer in this hobby.

I'm one of those guys that can't feel anything with a damn condom on yet I'm paranoid about getting STD's from BBBJ. I know it's possible but how often does it really happen? Any input would be appreciated. It would be helpful if there was a place on this site (I love this site by the way) to alert both hobbiests and providers of those spreading STD's.

exceptionally rare.

The mouth is not a very good environment for these kinds of bacteria and viruses.

Risk is far, far less than BBFS.  Additionally with almost every single type of condition there are symptoms that are usually not present in women where the infection/disease is vaginal.

There is and has been a raging debate as to wither HIV can be contracted via oral sex.  This is difficult to know because in almost every case where a person contracted the virus there is other high risk activity associated (intravenous drug use, unprotected sex, unprotected same sex....) at best it is probably highly unlikely to occur

The risk of STD's from BBBJ's is clearly far higher for the female, then for the male. Both tend to be small.

First there are reports of oral transmission of HIV (Google is your friend).  Unlike other STDs, HIV infections are systemic and the actual route of transmission is impossible to determine unless the newly infected did oral or vaginal sex exclusively.  I t is probably that oral transmission and risk of HIV is under-reported since all new infectious are attribute to vaginal sex.
