While some “experts” say a guy can get STDs from bbbj
Others say it should be considered as safe
Any experiences out there

Herpes is just one of the lovely diseases you can get from a BBBJ.  There are even more if she swallows.

Yes there is a whole slew of STDs you can get from bbbj. Nothing is completely safe. When they talk about "safe"
They mean it is safer than bbfs, and bbfs is safer than bb anal. There is risk in this hobby we play in, but a lot of activities are much lower risk than others. The important thing is to be aware of the risks and decide how much risk you are willing to take. A lot of info can be found at the CDC site and other health sites.

It's a risky way of looking at it

I really appreciate the folks at Smart Sex Resource because of the way they clearly break down transmission of STIs during different activities.

BBJs always feel like a huge personal risk since it's a lot of genital contact with soft membranes and fluids. Either myself or my partner may have something dormant within them and may pass it off to another w/o knowing.

This is especially a risk since most STI testing don't test for all STIs. For instance, herpes is not commonly tested unless you ask (or w/ some insurances), it is prescribed.

So for my personal peace of mind, better safe than sorry. Either way, I hope the resource helps!

Did you happen to see this link on TER it may answer your question.  Also CDC has a wealth of information on the subject.
I hope this help you because as for me I plan to play and stay STD free.

that you don't seem to realise that any sexual encounter whether protected or unprotected carries a risk. some STIs can even be spread via skin to skin contact. I suggest that you check the CDC link below
