I am a newbie who had his first encounter earlier this week.  I set up an appt. with a provider who had only 1 review but her pics on her add were out of this world.  (Too good to be true)  The review claimed she was a knockout and her pics were accurate.  When I arrived the girl wasn't even close.  She was cute but not nearly what you'd expect.

I went through with the appt. but was clearly dissapointed.  

Now just today, another review shows up claiming her pics were accurate and she was a extremely attractive.

The other fishy detail is both of these reviews claim she was shaved and the girl I saw was Not.  I know the reviews might take a day to be posted but it can't grow that fast!!!

Anyway, now I'm trying to figure out if the other two reviewers didn't expect as much?  Or if the girl I saw was not the actually provider but someone who works with the "knockout".

Anyone come across this before?  Is this what they call bait and switch?  Again, I am new so any advice would be appreciated.

And yes, I put in a review and was just honest.

Sounds like it, my friend, and its too bad that it had to happen to you on your first experience.

The only other thing that's possible is that the pictures are old and the people doing the reviews saw her a long time ago and waited until now to post their reviews.  But that's pretty unlikely.

I think, to be on the safe side, you should stick to the well-reviewed-by-multiple-reviewers providers.  Or, if a provider has very few reviews, make sure that at least one of the reviewers is someone who has written multiple reviews themselves...thus minimizing the risk that someone is just writing fake reviews to make the provider look genuine.

This happens to most all of us at some point in the hobby experience - but it royally sucks to have it happen early in the experience.  Don't be soured on the hobby - try again with a provider who has multiple good reviews.

I hope you learned some lessons flabby67. If it looks to good to be true it probably is AND a hot looking babe with ONE super flattering/tempting review is probably being shilled(promoted) by an agency or the like.
  Until you get your bullshit detector properly calibrated stick to providers with multiple and CONSISTANT reviews where many of the reviewers have multiple reviews to their credit(this is where VIP membership comes in so valuable). Agencies, pimps/Madams and boyfriends often plant flowing reviews for obvious reasons. It up to you the hobbyist to descern their credibility.

Freedomrider's most recent review (Karen) was one of his 33 reviews.  She has 5 pages of reviews.

I didn't read it, because I'm not headed to that city, but I could feel comfortable relying upon his review because I could compare it to others he's seen.  That gives me a feel for what he likes.  If our tastes align, I can send a private message, asking for more details, or answers to specific questions.

Having his review on her list of 5 pages gives credibility to the other reviews.  If one looks contrary to the pack, check that other persons reviews as well.  It's really a process of compiling enough data to be able to strip off what's not real.

Kinda giddy when I recieve a BC, and some guy says my reviews really helped his decision making,along w/ having a great time w/ the provider...like a pot-o-gold at the end of a rainbow except it really happens!
