Hello fellow hobbyists. I've only been hobbying a little over 2 years. Been mainly sticking to agencies and I was thinking of seeing an independent girl. I was glancing over the backpage ads and I'll admit it can be a bit jarring to look through the ads. Some of them I can easily spot them as being fake and not legitimate.

So I ask you, how can you tell what's a real ad and are the providers on there any more or less safe than an agency?

Many places, BP is full of rob girls, bait n switch, etc.  I do know some very high quality providers that use it, however.  Like I said, it just depends.

well-reviewed, don't waste your time and $$$.  As a previous poster said, with VIP you can read the details, don't just look at the profile as that is established by the first reviewer and is most likely out of date.

I've been wondering the same thing. I haven't had any luck with BP, CV, or HX; and getting my VIP here didn't really help me much either.

IMHO, you are not using it to it's fullest extent.  Read the juicy details of the reviews, PM guys with questions, hell, ask me for help.  The resources are here, use them.

.......I have done very well for myself over the years, and have never had one review.  If a gentleman is just looking for a one hour session, I think reviews are important, because a session is about sex, but with multi hour calls, and dinner dates, travel, etc., it becomes more complicated, as it is an experience.

It works very well for me. Especially when it comes to touring ladies.  Also look at the daily "new" reviews, this section of reviews,  can help you find great ladies as well as steer you away from B/S and ROB escorts as well.

and not using your TER VIP.  START with TER.  I scan the most recent reviews for my area.  I use the links to ads & web sites.  I look to see if her pictures are really her.  Look to see if she performs as advertized.  If I'm still interested, I look over her reviews...  eventually reading at least the most recent page, and highs & lows on others.
A single low review per page is not disqualifying in my view, often can be explained away...  in fact often is in the text.  Even if not, the topic is subjective.  Some low numbers have good texts, at least from my perspective.  I mistrust first reviews until confirmed by subsequent reviewers.  

I look for consistantly "good reviews" while not hung up on exact number scales.  I simply will not risk my time & effort with gals whose reviews have wide swings, say 3 to 9 or some such.  Either she is inconsistant...  great if she likes you or you are her type...  otherwise not.  Or she's moody.  What ever.  Not risking my limited opportunities.    

In my experience there are robs & scams on every ad venue...  and well reviewed providers.  It's horribly time consuming to start with an ad site.

LIke others said just do your research...   its possible to find 1  or 2 legit people out of all the adds, but its time consuming.  Much easier to search TER or similar boards.
