Background noise

The TV won't drown-out sex noises unless it's so loud that other folks will hear it and complain to management.  Music is good for setting the mood but, again playing it loudly is not a good idea.

Last time I checked it was not against the law to have sex in a hotel room.  Both parties should be aware of their surroundings of course but unless you yell out "Where do you want me to leave the money" as hotel security is walking past the room or she has guys lined up in the hallway you really don't have anything to worry about.

I have seen some ladies in hotels who leave the TV on so people in other rooms can't hear us. I'm wondering how usual that is. Not great for the mood IMHO. My favorite lady has a little blue tooth set up to play music from an iPhone. After our first time she suggested I make a playlist and we could hear what I wanted. Very considerate.what are "best practices" on this issue?

If a woman is leaving the TV on, it should be in a suite with 2 rooms at least. I put the TV on in the living room and close the doors to the bedroom. If I get stuck with a single room, you can bet there will always be music playing and the fan from the AC on. Incalls...different story, and I don't much care who hears what. There are no doors right next to them as with a hotel, so no way to complain.

You have to realize that you are not the only guy she is probably seeing that day or week, in that same hotel. You leave, and she is left with however many other men who are going to make the same amount of noise. You guys are not exactly silent when you cum. It is so loud, there have been times I actually grabbed a pillow and tossed it over his damn head!

I think the playlist idea is a good one, but most guys in their 50s and 60s listen to music that makes me want to hurl.

You just have to make sure you are no more than the second loudest coupling in the hotel  :D

I met a young lady once and while we were still in the 'getting to know you' stage...we hear a neighboring room load up the bed with enough quarters to make it shake rattle and roll a good long time.  PS, there were no quarters ;p

Oh...and I did ask to turn the tv off at the beginning of that session.

Personally I could care less, but I guess some people are real sticklers for mood and ambience.

She said she needed to hear voices on the TV to concentrate.

I did finally talk her out of that by supplying the vocals myself.

I find TV very distracting unless it's the music only stations that are on.

IMHO, in a hotel setting, the music souce should be on the end of the dresser closest the door and aimed toward the door.  Louder at the door than in the bed area.  It might not be possible to totally mask the noises from within, it should be enough to mask them some & make it obivious the room is occupied.
A lot of gals have timed play lists which cue them for appointment duration.

It has only happened a few times and I asked them to either turn it off or find a music channel.  I really enjoy the right music for the session.  I have several playlists on the IPad that I use when I host when traveling.  Sometimes classic rock n roll, sometimes soft rock, even have a country playlist (LOL).

use music, which is fine.  If they have programmed an IPOD, or some other device, they can also use it to let them know when time is up, thus eliminating the need for a prominent clock and the need to watch it.  Music stops, time is up.

When I do host incall, it is usually in the early afternoon, when housekeeping is still in the hallway. I do usually have the television turned to the weather channel, for the purpose of blocking out noise. Not so much the "sex noise", but the conversations. You would be amazed at some of the conversations content, & anyone standing outside the room, could easily hear every word. It seems that those who have the loudest voices, are the same ones who's conversations include content that is directly related to the hobby.. so if housekeeping or the front desk wanted to know for sure, they would just have to listen, lol.

I have thought about the music aspect, but unfortunately do not have an iPod, & do not bring my laptop out of my home(so no CD player), so I just stick with the television. If I do have a gent that it distracted by the television, I will gladly turn it off.... but just like the background noise factor.
