Ask the particular lady you're trying to see if she can verify you that way.

It can certainly be done, just ask her if she has the capability/willingness to do so.

Question for both providers and clients - recently I noticed a provider mention on her website that in addition to the usual verification sites, she could verify new clients by "work info or business ownership." Work info/telephone I understand, but I work freelance and do not have a regular office. I am, however, incorporated as a small business with one employee (me).

Anyone know if this would fall in that category? Is it possible to verify my ID using my company name, for example. and if so, has anyone done this and/or recommend it? Thanks!

I'm self-employed and have an LLC. My first "reputable" provider (meaning she did real screening) took my LinkedIn profile as verification, and then she talked to me on the phone. I knew from reading her reviews that she was very serious about her own privacy & safety, so I reasoned that she might be cautious with my info.

I think that P411 also looked at my LinkedIn information and the fact that I have a domain name & e-mail tied to the business. (I didn't use that e-mail to contact them, though.)

It can certainly be done, just ask her if she has the capability/willingness to do so.
