I performed a search on the topic but did not get back any relative results.

I have seen a provider who was not reviewed.

Now I have been trolling these boards and especially the newbie section. I have read it is best to go with reviewed providers, I just felt like it was all good with this provider. and it turned out to be. However, as I mentioned she was not reviewed.

My question is do/should one ask permission before reviewing? I have read how providers sometimes want to FUTR, is that why some, who may have appeared to be around a while are not reviewed?

What is proper etiquette for reviewing unreviewed providers?

1.  If you found her on BP or EROS or one of the other escort malls or advertising sites then she is not trying to FUTR.  You seem to have had a good time so I think you should review her.  Worst it will do in that case it make other gents in her area aware that she is "for real" and her business might increase.

2.  If she was a word of mouth referal from someone, then you need to ask. Since the experience was good you should respect her wishes.

she might not want reviews, many providers do not.  IMHO, you got lucky with this one.  Before writing a review I would ask her if she wants one.  If she does not, you should respect her wishes.  You can always post on your regional board that you TOFFT without naming her and tell guys to PM you for more info.

She may not want reviews.  I have some personal experience with this...

I am pretty new to the hobby (since May) and the first lady I saw had no TER reviews.  I was in a part of the country that has no dedicated TER board, plus I was so new that I didn't know enough to always check for TER reviews.  Anyway, I found her on BP and I made the appointment.  I had a great time with her and thought about writing a review of her.  I looked her up on TER and couldn't find her or any reviews and, when I saw the details that TER wanted in the review, I contacted her and asked if she minded if I write a review.  She thanked me for asking and requested that I not, and that she FUTR.  She then told me that to FUTR she even takes down her website when not touring (she only provides in this one city when visiting), which she only does a few times a year.  I guess I was lucky enough to see her during a rare visit.  I was also lucky enough that she was legit and I had a great time.  Without good TER reviews, there is no way I would have scheduled her now that I know more about the hobby.

Since that time I have decided, for my own reasons, not to write reviews.  My only exception thus far was to write a review for a relatively new lady who wanted more reviews and asked me to write one for her, which I was happy to do.
