Is it bad if a provider mentions the donation amount in an email confirmation to meet?
As in: 'Your total comes to....'  (Or whatever.)
It's just not something I expected.

Granted, she is relatively new.  And her minimal number of reviews come from 'well-traveled' hobbyists.  I was just curious if this raises any eyebrows out there.

just says something like, "the donation for my time is" and does not mention anything sexual, there is nothing wrong with it.  As long as the reviewers have plenty of reviews, should be ok.

no big deal..they will say 'the gift is 400' or something similar..no one ever should say 'your total comes to'..your are not in a checkout line at the store..just make sure YOU bring the right amount..

Are you selecting off an a' la cart menu...  IMHO that's a bad sign.  Most quality providers are "all inclusive" at a set rate.  The only exception is trips to Greece, which are most commonly an extra C note.  
Have you been fully researching...  for the final selection you really need VIP & to read the complete reviews...  of several gals on your bucket list.

I generally don't worry whenever a paid escort confirms the donation amount via email.

I agree with London. Since my incall & outcall rates differ, whenever I host incall, I double check to make sure they know the rate difference... too many times people claimed they "didn't know" & were short. Or if I'm traveling out of town, I have a travel fee, & will give them the "total" of travel time + time for appt=xyz.

anytime you are not sure of something, this is the place to ask, the newbie board.  It's better to ask, and be sure, than to just guess.  When you guess, you have a 50-50 chance of guessing wrong.  And Lord knows, many of us have guessed wrongly at one time or another.  Someone will always come up with an appropriate answer for you.

Last year, I was interested in a provider, so while I am doing some checking on her, I noticed that she had 3 different rates on 3 different locations on the web. One was on her website and the other 2 were ads on other boards.

I was confused as to which rate she was using, so, I emailed her for a rate clarification. She responded back with a nasty email asking me, "Can you read?".

Yea, I can read, then I asked her, "Can you clarify your rates?"

The last response from her was that she can do whatever she wants on those places where she has quoted her rates. (For the record... all of the rates that were quoted were posted in the same timeframe) That's fine with me, but I still never knew what amount to bring her if I did decide to see her.

I ended up seeing someone else.

If she would have said... this is the rate... I would have made an appointment and brought the correct amount, but no... she had to go on a nasty rant against me. Forget that one.

So, I always email or text message the lady either day before or the day of the appointment to verify the rate. I do not want to shortchange anyone by accident.

Her greediness cost her your biz.  She must have thought you guys would only see one ad.  What a rocket scientist.  It takes too much energy to play stupid games like that which will end up just shooting your own self in the foot.  

If I really had a jones for her, what I would have emailed her would have been:

I see you have a rate listed on "X" site, so that's what I will be bringing for your donation.

That puts the ball squarely in her court to respond yes or no.  As an added protection, I'd print out the page with that rate and have it in my pocket if she protests that she had no such rate.

But when dealing with a provider who is so much trouble from the get-go, it's probably better to pass.

You'll be ok as long as she ONLY mentioned the donation price, and not the nature of the services she intends to provide.  If she mentioned both the donation and specifics about service in the e-mail, I would discontinue all communication immediately.
