Newbie question here. I have had a couple of experiences now with very nice ladies. Both times I was with the provider for an hour. I am wondering how providers feel about shorter sessions. I see some girls advertising half hour rates, and, honestly, the price point is better for me. Is asking for a half hour session from someone that advertises half hour prices frowned upon by providers? I don't doubt that a full hour would be more relaxing for both of us, but I do feel sometimes that a half will probably be enough.

It's usually CL girls, and lower echelon girls that offer 30 minute sessions.  I don't do 1/2 hour, and know  very few  few guys  who do it, and even fewer ladies that offer it.

Some ladies offer half hour sessions to accommodate customers who are busy during their work day and can't get away for an hour.  Most however fall into the categories that Fuzzy outlined. Once you start getting involved with girls who book 30 minute appointments you are also getting involved with ladies who run late, passing other men in the hallway and traffic flow in and out of the in call that is anything but discrete.

Choose carefully...

I agree with BG...  1/2 hour is quickie range.  I prefer GFE & there's just not enough time in less than an hour.

Only ask for 1/2 hour if the ladies advertises. And be sure she is well reviewed there are some Ladies here that offer 1/2 rates at times.Agreed be careful.

If you are a real fan of the gfe experience, than it would be impossible to accomplish a  true gfe date in a half hour. As other posts have mention only bring up 1/2 hr sessions if the provider offers, never bring it up if the ad or web site doesnt mention 1/2 hrs. Even though the price  for a half is attractive, IMHO I would hobby less and go for the full hr. Also look for specials, where I live a lot of escorts are running specials. Take advantage of this opportunity. Ladies are getting very creative to attract business.Read your local board.

Personally, 1/2 hours are a great deal of fun and largely convenient for me.
It's a playful, direct romp devoid of awkward lapses or formal conversation.

I'm not required to be charming during them-
I can do what I want to do which is fuck and play.
My clients who choose halves can see me with frequency because I'm at a price point which affords them the opportunity without guilt or forsaking something important in their budget.  The only thing they get less of is the filler (nonsensical conversation, extended DATY -lol- and whatever else that usually kills time during hour/multi-hour sessions).  They get exactly what they want and a session of the same quality as my other time increments.

You can't have an excellent GFE 1/2 experience?  Balderdash.

Misconception:  Providers who provide 1/2s are booked 24/7- Ummm....maybe if they work for an agency (if the agency can book them this much they certainly will).  But an independent (especially these days) is NOT booking 6 1/2s in a day.  They're supplemental to standard hour session income.

If you need time to languish about, recuperate or just enjoy the company of a beautiful woman then hours, multiple hours and extended appointments will obviously be to your liking and taste.

If you are the sort of client who is quiet, has issues with premature ejaculation and lose interest after orgasm, want something "a la carte" (like a french lesson), have short windows of opportunity or simply want to gauge whether or not an extended amount of time is appropriate when learning a new provider that you have interest in a 1/2 hour, if offered, may be for you.

It can be like pulling teeth entertaining some clients for the aforementioned reasons and I WISH they would grant me reprieve by booking 1/2 hours.

I have many friends who are equally well-reviewed & received who provide 1/2 hour sessions at a price point they find reasonable and profitable.
At the typical price point for a reputable provider who offers 1/2s ($150-$200) your half hour pays for her incall location that day.  

Hobby snobbery regarding 1/2s, CL and a number of other things are rooted in truths- but ultimately you will find exceptions to everything.

If a provider is legitimate as evidenced by consistent reviews, offers 1/2s and is friendly during your contact prior to booking go for what you want.

30 minutes is barely enough time to "get to know" a lady.  Arousal and fore-play has to be a bare minimum if you need some time to take a shower before going back to work.  

Also, who wants to be number 12 on the dance card?

Way, way back, I had a job where I often took a highway that went right by my gal's house.  She was a caretaker at a community house so she was there all the time.

I'd often surprise her (No cell phones back then; I'm talking about the time when dinosaurs roamed.) and we'd have a quickie and I'd be back in my truck on my way to deliver whatever.  Talk about spontaneity, she just loved it.

I noticed that a lot a VIP's are offering 1/2 appointments now. Perhaps its the economy butfor me I would never go to a regular who offering these discounts.  It would seem like haggling to me.

Please don't base your opinion of a provider on her rates and the time increments she uses!
How much I ask for a donation does not determine how I conduct myself.  
I am neither a Craig's girl or lower echelon girl. I always provide a GFE experience. I wasn't aware there was a time factor involved in that respect.
There are very valid reasons for choosing to offer 1/2 visits and how we base our rates.  I have obligations to a special needs family member and my availability is limited to weekdays 10 AM to 4 PM I choose to offer 1/2 hr visits to accommodate my friends who wish to see me during their lunch hours and I determined my rates based on several economic factors in my service area. The main one being I live 15 miles from the border where the going rate for an hour with a girl, the room and the condom included is $75. So for me asking $300 an hr wouldn't be a very sound business decision.

i have had great 1/2hrs but they are with a provider i already have a relationship with.  IMPO i would never schedule less  then an hr with somone new.

I saw a girl for 1 hour for 200 and she had her half hour rate at 175

I do not think that that lower echelon girls were met to indicate the girl but the customer.  For me I visit upscale women because of the discreet factor as well as safety.  An area where 75 rooms is not somewhere I would frequent, so if you charged 300 and you are in a secure area, I will find you. If your location is close to an area I do not feel safe in, I do not care if you a GFE, PSE giving it away, I not coming....I think.

I think he is saying for him a lady could be GFE in 1/2 hour.

If it fits your wants and needs, there's *nothing* wrong with partaking in a shorter session if she advertises it!

For me, the longer the better! I have a one and a half hour minimum, because there's no way I can get to know a person and relax and enjoy myself in 30 minutes. Even an hour is pushing it. I'd prefer a two hour minimum, but I know how busy some of my clients are, so for now I compromise.

I don't think any one here would put you in that area your reviews are great and that is what he should be looking at. And you are so right about keeping your rate @ a point that is in your market.I don't think they mean you hon.

Thanks Livie! I didn't intend my post to be defensive, I didn't take it personally, I saw that the posts all said there are exceptions. I posted to reiterate that fact, shed some light on why there are those of us who have made these marketing decisions, and address some of the comments that were made.  
You are so right, a providers reviews reveal her level of service, not her rates or the time increments she chooses. That was the exact point I was trying make!

I don't see any harm in asking. The provider can say, "No, I do not offer half-hour sessions."  Actually, I have never wanted to do half-hour sessions because it might take me too long to get dolled up for them and then get only a portion of what I normally receive. However, I've been thinking about it because I realize there is a need for some men to get out the door in a timely manner. That doesn't mean he won't have a good experience. It will just be a lot shorter than the norm and maybe no beverage, no small talk or no massage involved. Now, if all he wanted was a rubdown, I'd certainly oblige. I can give a pretty decent back rub in 30 minutes.

and I offer them for the Gentlemen that want something before they get home to the family, who typically doesn't have an hour to spend because they have a very hectic lifestyle. The Best part about it they tell me is that they get the best BBBJ they've ever had, and they miss all the traffic!  Some want quickie sex, which is just as hot, but it's usually a BJ..it works for alot of Gentlemen, and it fits into their lifestyle.
