How can you guys tell if an ad on BP is legit or not? I have tried just googling the phone number to see if something comes up but often times they won't.

You really need to search her number (or other info) on TER Reviews. If she has no Profile or reviews, you'll have to think long and hard about TOFTT.  

Many of us work in the opposite direction. If we find an enticing Recent Review in our area and her ad link goes to BP, we see her BP ad after TER, not before. Likewise, if she lists an ad on your TER Local Ad Board (but I'd still worry about an ad without a Profile).

You can also image search the pictures in her ad using google image search or TinEye or both. That would be totally separate from searching TER.

as we all were once, I suggest you START your research with most recent TER reviews for your area.  
You will find all kinds of links to advertizing on various sites beyond TER.  You can search TER reviews by email or phone number, or even name (but the latter is less useful, generally).    
You can search images on Google image or tin eye.  Images that pop all over the world are likely not your local provider...  more likely stolen internet images.  
To really get a feel for a prospect, you will need TER VIP for intervals (to create a bucket list).  

Learning to research properly is the best advise for newbies.

don't risk it.  There's plenty of fish in the ocean you can find info on.

seeing a well reviewed provider.  By this we mean a provider with 6-12 reviews (minimum) and at least some by experienced reviewers (with 6-12 reviews published).  This gives you the assurance that she IS what she says she is.  You are more likely to encounter some sort of SCAM than you are to encouter LE...  a well reviewed provider reduces the odds of both so you can go & have a good time.  
I'm not saying to 'never' see the one you have your eye on but not right now.  Once you have some experience, you can circle back & see if she's still so appealing.

So, I do not advertise there.  Many girls risk it, but not me!  

I'm playing it safe and staying with TER and P411, but I still do due diligence when booking a client, and I hope you do the same when seeking a provider.
