All of the responses you have received so far a great. Not knowing where you are located is problematic; perhaps BP is the main vehicle in your area. VIP on TER is worth it's weight in gold, borrow from your grandma to get the money to join. That said, if you are in an area that has good TER " coverage", you might post on the regional board that you are a newbie, would like a vist, have x amount of funds and see what happens.
Hey All,
Im new to this game/world, and Im a tad confused on how to get started. Ive browsed back page, and cross references TER, for reviews on providers. I made a list and emailed a few providers to set up appointments. Two questions,
Am I going about this in the wrong way?
How long should I wait to hear back before scheduling with a different provider?
Can anyone reccomend newbie friendly providers?
Thanks a million.
1. So far, so good. Are you a VIP member? If not, become one, and let the reviews be your guide as to whom is right for you.
2. 48 hours is the most commonly given time for waiting when this subject comes up.
3. You would have to let us know where you are to handle this question.
Keep on asking, you're on the right track.
First of all, do what Mr Fisher said.
Secondly, have you done anything yet about verification? If not, look into Date Check and P411. That will get you into see many, but not all, providers. Some providers will still want to check with references, which you dont have yet.
Third, let the ladies know upfront you are a newbie as some ladies wont see newbies under any circumstances. Telling them also will tip them off that your not "schooled" in every facet of the business so they may be more inclined to be more patient with you re: questions you ask, your email style, etc.
Fourth, just always be super polite and respect their wishes. One way to do that is to scour their website before contacting them. Many go to great trouble to give guys info on how to contact them, what is and isnt available (i.e. GFE, fetish, etc), and the more you know about them and their requests the better their interaction with you will be. Good luck!
finding a provider on BP, then seeing if she has reviews here?
Without TER VIP, you are merely skimming the surface of information available. You should also know that a provider's profile is established by the first reviewer so the information may not be current / accurate.
being a newbie myself, I found out the hard way. Take their advise to become TER VIP. They are not just selling you a bill of goods. Completely changed my approach to the business...backpage is almost disappearred from my use.....Really unless you want a 15 min BJ.....you need to step up to TER or a site like ERO's...you get what you pay for...The better quality provider the more info and help you will recieve. They are truely in the business...not needing drug money or to pay the rent by tomorrow!

Backpage is generally the worst place to look for escorts--bodyrub girls are a different story, but even for that, you have to do a fair amount of vetting.
What exactly are you getting or not getting in terms of response.
Give us some ideas of what you are looking for. Also, try posting in the regional boards to find girls.
P411 allows the providers to indicate if they are newbie friendly. They have a toll free number and Gina, the owner, will work with you to get you verified, and verification will open a lot more doors for you.
Start posting on your regional board so people will get a feel for you and your personality. This will make your foray into this hobby somewhat easier. And I can't emphasize the value of VIP membership here. Once you get to see some providers, you can write reviews and receive free VIP days. You can also get free days by submitting problem reports. But, without the VIP, you cannot read all the needed information on the providers to help make your decision.

many well reviewed providers post on the regional ad boards. Also look at the new reviews if you're in a city with good TER coverage. To find new reviews, go to review> new reviews > then use the drop down window and locate the city. The major cities covered by TER will have 10 to 20 new reviews posted daily. If your in a city with poor TER coverage, there are a number of regional review boards.
I can't name them here, because it against TER policy, but you can find them using google.
Thank you all so much for the responses. As far provider response, I get alot of short sentences. I recently asked if a day/time was available and I didnt get an answer. Can I post my region here?
Go to your regional board and post the same question.
