1 tip...  lube.  Be sure to use it.  It'll make things much better, and it'll make you a fan.  It truly feels "almost" like BB.

Honestly, imho though, it's best to use it in doubles.  However, 1 on 1 is great as well.

I actually like them (A LOT) and ESPECIALLY for FMF. I don't think anyone would object to trying them at least once.  I was curious about them and wanted to try one and I DEFINITELY like them.  

I have no problem with the insertion part (I used to use a diaphrapm, for goodness' sake.LOL).  I only mentioned that because that is the only reason I can imagine someone being squeamish about using one.
