I thought things were going well in setting up a date so I sent a picture. She then said she was not attracted to me and cancelled the visit. I'm not that ugly!!!! Other providers say I'm cute. I know it's a mutual decision but what to do?
Sending a picture is not a good idea (IMHO). If a gal is insisting on this as part of her screening process, you need to examine the types of gals you are trying to see. Some guys here have given out a picture, but I absolutely don't subscribe to that EVER. You have no idea where that picture may end up, the gal has your other personal information, and you are putting yourself in a postion where you have absolutely no control of the situation.
As far as a provider commenting that she is not attracted to you is even more disturbing. Truth is, we are not going there to "impress" her with our looks. We are there to bring her our friends (Ben, Benjamin and Benjy), and they encourage her to fulfill her end of the bargain. And I hate to inform you, the gals really don't care what you look like, just that you have the correct donation, are clean, and don't make an ass of yourself. Part of their "job" is to build your ego by telling you "how cute you are". Enjoy the time with her, but truly, once you close the door behind you she won't remember you (till the next time you show up with your buddies..Ben).
You should read the newbie manual (again and again) as well as peruse these boards and you will see that there is a screeening process that most gals follow. And rarely does it involve a picture. And when it does, run like hell...don't look back...and find a "well reviewed provider"!

There are so many to see. Find another. The possibilities are endless. It is tough when it appears things are going well. But stuff happens. It's hard to resist that feeling of I'm sure I can convince her. But in the hobby it's not really a good idea and there are plenty of others. My advice go have a good time with someone you've seen before and keep searching for a new lady too.

Some girls are under the mistaken belief that if you send a naked picture of yourself, that proves you are not LE, other girls only want to see men they find physically appealing.
But for most of us...
Unless there is something really unique about your look - ie. 800 lb sumo wrestler or have a parasitic twin, or missing a limb, there is no reason to send a picture. even if there is something truly unique about you, you can give us a heads up without the picture as well.
If a provider is asking for a picture move on.
The hobbyist attractiveness scale is based on a few factors; cleanliness, respect, and ability to pay. If you have these things mastered then baby, you are a 10 hobbyist! Give me an average guy any day of the week. If a guy is too attractive he will have the attitude that I should be paying him, or lucky to have him at my in call. I wish those guys could see the tail I pull on my own time, just saying.
Other poster is right, forget about it and move on. I experience a lot of cases where a girl sounds willing to meet in initial phone calls, and then she just stops answering. My bet is most of the time it is suspicion that you are LE. Other times I think the girl just isn't committed to being a provider. You can't control these situations, and it's their shit and not yours.
I agree... how exactly do u look in the pic you are sending? It's not a naked pic in front of a mirror, is it?? (And yes, I'm being dead damn serious.. guys send these all the time!) and it's a deal breaker. Or she could've thought you had that "LE" look.. it's quite possible unfortunately. As far as "not be attracted" to you, I call BS on that one... besides, everyone knows it's personality that outshines looks every time!! Just move on to the next one!

I don't like getting pictures before a date because it ruins the mystery and suspense that comes when the door opens.
If I get one ahead of time, there is too much time for it to sink in that I don't find the guy attractive and then I don't look forward to the date. I'd rather be excited and not know anything.

Here's the whole story. I got infatuated by a 24 yr old's butt- Beverly Lamaour. Had no TER reviews. Red flag. Found some reviews by googling her- they were mixed. Red flag. So, she would have SEEN you without seeing a pic first, she just wouldn't promise to KISS you? She didn't promise that she would be attracted to you if you sent a pic, did she?
