Verification services such as Date-Check and P411 are set-up to verify potential hobbyists and to minimize the risk that a provider will run into an unwanted situation.  What about the converse?  If a provider is listed on either one or both, does this provide some assurance to a hobbyist that she is legit?  For example, if a provider is listed on P411 and DC, and has been DC staff verified and seen by a member of DC in good-standing, does this carry any weight that she is at least a provider and not someone posing as a provider? I am assuming that providers wanting to be listed on these services undergo some screening or verification analagous to those of hobbyists. I realize that checking reviews here on TER is still important and provides added info regarding whether she is your up of tea.  I'd appreciate any thoughts on this issue.
