It has been quite a while since I have visited a provider... I would love to visit another, however, I have lost the nerve to.

I worry about getting busted, even though chances of that may be slim, I just have so much to lose.

Any thoughts? I am sure some of you will just call me a pussy, however, it took me a while to get where I am and I don't want to screw up my life...

Anyone else feel this way??

Make sure you see well-reviewed ladies only.

Look at it this way. You have a greater chance of getting killed in a car accident driving to her hotel than you do of getting busted, provided you do what Businesses said. Imho, you can also lower your risk doing:

1) Outcall (i.e. have the girl come to your hotel.) Logic dictates a sting is much more difficult and more expensive (i.e. less ikely) for LE to seek out one "John." Pick an upscale hotel, with a large lobby, and elevators that dont need your hotel key to access them. You want the lady to be able to blend into the surroundings. This will cost you more money for both the room and likely the ladies fee willl be higher but if it gives you further peace of mind and you can swing it, its money well spent.

2) Avoid agencies. LE rarely targets Indy's unless they are calling attention to themselves. Its the agencies that can be a problem if they get busted and their client list becomes public.

Dude . . . bro . . . there are no short cuts . . .

the good news is that all the info you need is right here, you just need to take some time to teach yourself what you need to know.  The bad news is there are no short cuts, and you will have to  take some time to teach yourself what you need to know.

Given your concerns about getting busted, you should probably take some time to acquire the skill set that will help you to avoid getting busted.  You should probably spend some significant time reading the self help center (several times), and then you should spend some significant time reading this FAQ for newbies board.

Almost any question you could possibly ask has already been asked and answered on this FAQ newbie board.  To make things better, there is an easy to use search tool that allows you to do searches on the FAQ newbie board.

In addition to doing the research mentioned above, also, at a minimum, you should probably acquire a hobby phone and a hobby email address.  These topics have been written about thoroughly on the FAQ newbie board.  You just have to use the search tool to find what you need.    

Of course none of this will make you 100% bullet proof; but if you follow the standard precautions and conventional wisdom ( see FAQ newbie board), you should be able to greatly reduce your risk.

If you live near an area where prostitution is legal go there.  That would be Nevada with the exception of the counties Las Vegas and Reno are located and states in Mexico.  Otherwise, you may want to take crazshits advice.

My advice is if you don't live near a legal brothel, do the homework described above, so if you just got to see somebody and don't want to spend time when the urge gets too strong, you'll have the work done.

Businesses, and Alex basically saying if you do the research using TER and other sources and see well reviewed ladies, you should be safe. dgunn talking about outcalls and agencies has some truth to what he says. And crazy shit basically saying don't hobby if you are that paranoid. (I am paraphrasing all, as I previously read all the posts but I am not looking at them now)

Hobbying is not a necessity. It is a luxury, and it is supposed to be fun. If you are as worried as you sound, then it is not fun. I'm not going to call you a pussy, but if you are this uncomfortable, and as you said, you lost your nerve, worried about getting busted, and have too much to lose, then DON"T DO IT! I'm with crazyshit on this one.

However, if you really have your mind set on seeing a provider, then follow the other advice. Read the self help center. Read a lot of information on these boards. Read back many pages on this newbie board. Get VIP if you don't already have it, and start researching reviews. Only when you get to a point when you are not so paranoid should you proceed. A small healthy amount of fear is a good thing, as we all should stay on our toes. Paranoia is not a good thing.

If worry is going to prevent you from the experience, rethink it.

The other fear that outcall can dispel is the Zumba Video factor. You're more in control of the environment.

Outcall. Well Reviewed upscale provider. Good Hotel.  All of these are beneficial to you in terms of security.

Definitely avoid agencies. As stated they are much more prevalent targets for law enforcement.

Another choice for the legal provider option is Montreal. Prostitution is legal for outcall.  This eliminates the law enforcement factor, and also the need to use a brothel as in Nevada, where you are subject to other exposure risks e.g. being recognized by others and having more than just you and the provider involved.  The more players, the more risk.

Read up on the message boards for help with phones, email, and other aspects of protection from SO discovery.

Also ask yourself what it is you miss about hobbying. If you use to enjoy variety, that's going to mean a lot more risk than finding yourself a preferred provider and seeing her exclusively. It may not be a risk worth taking.

They contain pretty much all the info you need, except what you can get from reading the self help center.  I do agree with several of the posters, if you are so worried about getting busted, find another hobby.  You will ruin any chance you have for enjoying this one.

All of us that partake in this wonderful enterprise know and understand that there are risks involved.  After all, it is illegal.  We choose to do the research on the ladies we see to minimize the chances for something bad happening, just as they will screen all potential clients.  Yes, there are many other guys out there who share your concerns.  This question has been asked countless times before, and the answer is always the same.  Get VIP, read the self help center, do the research, see well-reviewed providers, join a verification site, and so on.
