So- I finally took the first big step and registered with P411. Filled out the form, supplied them with employer info and all that good stuff. My question is, how long does it take now before I'm good to go. it's been about a day now. When and how will I receive word that I'm all clear?
Then (sorry, should have told you this was a two part question) once I call or email a provider or agency, do i just inform them that I am P411 certified and do all agencies/providers accept P411, so I don't have to get screened again?

It depends on their work load and how difficult you are to research but you will hear back soon.  They are on top of it.

Once you are cleared you can go into P411 and send an e-mail to your chosen provider from P411 via their system.  Otherwise you can send an e-mail to your provider listing your P411 identifier that you will be given upon approval and she can research you through the site if she's a member.

...no, not all ladies/agencies accept P411 as screening. And some will only accept P411 if you have a certain number of recent Okays (this info can be found in their profiles). So while it is frequently helpful, having a P411 ID isn't an automatic "in".

with a credit card, it should be pretty instant, as soon as you're verified. Gina is right on top of things. If you sent a check or money order, it will take until the check clears.

There isn't any definitive answer.

I have P411 and Date Check.  Some ladies will take that, others won't.  One genius advertised Date Check, but after getting my ID she still requested references.  I gave her the same references that were listed on my profile and she then ok'd me without ever contacting any of the ladies she insisted on the reference from.
