Greetings all!   I have been reading a lot on the Newbie board and am getting ready to sign up with P411.   It seems like P411 would be a jackpot of info for LE.  Has P411 ever been compromised??    Can't be too careful.

I'll be in Las Vegas 8/1 - 8/4 but probably won't be up and running with P411.  Hopefully I can talk a TER provider into meeting me at a nice Casino bar of her choosing to give me some pointers....

Well, it only took one day for me to get P411, so there's hope for you there, if you get  started now.  As far as ever compromised, don't know that, but do know it is based outside of US, so that is a barrier.

I believe P411 has it's servers in Canada, which makes it difficult to get to by US LEO.  Gina will work with you to verify you, but be prepared to give up some personal info.  It wouldn't hurt to try DC as well.

Assuming you don't have P411 set up (Never used it, so I have no idea what is involved in the set-up) and as a newbie, you presumably do not have references, it is highly unlikely you'll be able to just talk a TER provider into meeting you at a casino. Understand that any well reviewed/respected provider will need to screen you. It is paramount to their business. Setting up an appointment with any hobbyist who is w/o references and or other means to be verified, is not worth the risk. Ever.  

Also, the ladies are not here waiting to give Brighton41 pointers and advise on the hobby. You are making it sound like you'll simply contact a lady, charm her into meeting you at a casino, and then have her give you feedback and indoctrinate you into the hobby world. It doesn't work like that. If you are even lucky enough to set up a date, be prepared to pay the lady for her time... whether you choose to talk to her in an open casino or see her intimately in your hotel room.

I love P411.  I started from scratch and they worked with my on getting verified.  It took a bit to give them all the info they wanted, but well worth it.  And I love the site.  Since I travel, it is nice being able to quickly find ladies  all over the country and easily set up appointments with them.

As a backup, I joined Date Check.  For me, that was an easier sign-up.  But I also had a few P411 references by then.  The Calendar feature over there is great as I can see where my "favorites" are going to be a few weeks in advance.

As for Vegas, contact Katrina Kovell.  She is my first call whenever I get to Vegas and will work with a newbie given a bit of notice.

In some areas of the country one might be used more than the other. As a provider, yoiu might want to belong to both just because it gives you another advertising source and another place to meet potential clients (as well as verify the client).

Comparing the two, in my opinion P411 is much better. I belong to both but have actually never used Date-Check to meet someone. Every lady who I might want to see on that is on DC, is also on P411. I have a lifteime membership on DC so I wont quit, but if I knew then what I know now, i would have only joined P411.  

I forgot to mention this in my earlier post, but P411 ladies are all current. I understand that if a lady doesn't check in for 60 days, then her account goes on inactive status. On Date-check I have seen profiles for ladies that retired long ago.

Here are some of my reasons for preferring P411:

DC still has profiles up for ladies that retired years ago, and profiles in wrong cities for ladies who moved long ago. P411 will inactivate a provider account if she does not check in at least once every two months. They will also inactivate an account due to lack of response for an OK  
 
DC allows providers AND hobbyists to view your profile anytime you are logged on. P411 providers can only view your profile if you allow them to by giving them your ID.  
 
P411 has a much more user friendly format. They have easier to use PM system, the date request and pre screening request forms and better search features. They are not all cluttered with ads like DC.  
 
P411 will work with you to help you get verified if you are a student, retired, self employed, etc.  
 
They have an 800 number and live chat feature for customer service.  

Every time P411 has been compromised, Gina has informed the members right away though their site and here on TER and other hobby sites, and worked to fix any problems.

last year in WI several were arrested and this year in Colorado several were also arrested because P411 accounts were compromised.

These are the only two that I know of but I am sure more exist. P411 has been drawing lots of attention from LE lately because of their popularity, marketing and publicity they have received.

If you are a newbie, P411 might not work well for screening in some areas because providers might still require references if you don't have okays. If you already have references, why not just use those in lieu of verification websites or try date-check which is a bit more UTR.

It seems that there are different levels of p411.  Once I got an "Okay", all of a sudden there were 54 local Providers when before there was only about 40.  And if I search my area before I login, it says there are close to 100, but I can't see them unless I login.

The more research I have done for my location, I am getting the understanding that Providers that are trying to be more UTR, are the ones that I could not see before my "Okay".  I'm assuming there be various levels of Clients that the Providers can allow to see their Profiles.  But that is just a guess on my part.

So my question...what are the levels of membership at p411?  And how does one progress though those memberships, because that does not seem clear.

I have noticed the number of providers for an area dont always match up when you are logged in vs not logged in, but the number does not change depending on how many OKs you have. The ladies can select how many OKs you need for them to see you, but that does not mean their profile is unavailable to you if you dont have enough OKs.

In your case, there were probably just more ladies signed up after you got more OKs. It is just a coincidence. I have seen the number of available P411 providers in my area fluctuate between 12 and 25 or so over the past year. The number of ladies advertising on EROS here also fluctuates from a low of about 7 to a high of 35 or so. It`s a seasonal thing, and just depends on who is touring here etc.

When you don't login, P411 assumes you are not a member so fake profiles are created that say something like "signup to see profile" or something like that. Truth is there is nobody behind those profiles but the goal is to try and get you to signup for a membership.

If you were able to see all the profiles and didn't like any you wouldn't sign up so the intention is too give you a feeling you are missing something and a greater chance to signup.

There are two memberships, basic for those who signup without references (employment verification) and premium for those who signup with references or have okays. If you are a basic member who signed up without references but get okays then you become a premium member automatically.

Providers can choose if they want their profile seen by premium members or both basic and premium, one reason why you could see more profiles when you got okays. Even if you don't have a premium membership and you don't login you could still see a provider's P411 profile if you knew her URL address or by using the link from her TER profile. This is regardless if she blocked her profile from basic members or not.

If you already have okays, then you are good to go. There is no more progression for you and you can still see all the providers on there.

Hmmmm. Seems like a pretty odd coincidence. Like I said,  the number went up significantly in a matter of a few hours. And from some research I've done it appears that the "new" providers all tend to be trying to be UTR.

Just seemed odd.

If Blackgold did not have any okays previously but had a P411 membership he might not be able to see all of the providers profiles on P411.The reason is there is an option for a provider to select what type of member can view her profile.It can be public,members only,or members w/okays.
So,if he had no okays he will not see the providers who have selected to have their profiles viewed by only P411 members that have okays.Once he received an okay he was able to see those additional profiles now.
I don't think it is so much as being UTR perhaps some providers do not want the public or newbies viewing their profiles.

The only exception to the above is if a provider has selected to have her profile show only to P411 members w/okays but she has her P411 link on her ter profile anyone can see her P411 profile.It is no longer blocked for members w/no okays.Anyone will be able to see her p411 profile in this case even if they are not a member.
I hope that clears it up and not too confusing.

For p411, ter, date check, etc: look to see how long they have been a member, how many reviews they have done and for who, contact the girls they did reviews for, etc. if they are new and only did a couple o reviews for girls who have only one review and so on ... Definitely use other ways to verify

They aren't actually fake (or empty) profiles, they are profiles that are what we consider to be temporarily inactive... and yes, we do show them on the Public side to fluff up our numbers a bit. So it is somewhat deceptive.... eek.

We consider Temporarily Inactive accounts to be:  

*Disabled profiles - some providers flip their accounts between Active and Disabled on a weekly basis.
*Recently Expired profiles - I think it's for up to 90 days after their last log in, possibly 120 days, before they go into a status that is considered more permanent.
*Suspended profiles - non-responders (to Okay requests), they turn up fairly quickly
*Locked profiles - approved but waiting on age verification

... and probably a couple of more less common status, that I just can't think of right now.

P411 (the website) has never been compromised in any way.

However, a small number client accounts have been compromised over the 8+ years we've been in operation, and used to facilitate arrests against providers. Wisconsin and Colorado are a couple of the states this has occurred in, Arkansas being another.

Regardless, we are aware that anything is possible.... and for that reason any personal information collected during the initial screening process is deleted and destroyed once the account is approved. I sleep better at night, knowing my livelihood is safe, partly because we don't have any private information on our servers.
