I was just wondering if people out there ever bring providers to their own home for outcalls.  I just want to know if it's an industry no-no or if it's personal preference, etc.

I have done it many times.

I happen to like the atmosphere I can set (candles, massage oil, etc.) in my home.

You need to be comfortable with it.  Discretion is also important, therefore it depends on where you live, what time the dates are, etc.

Agree with all of the above.  If you have a SO there is a BIG RISK.  The last thing you need is a strand of long blonde hair found by the SO.  Kinda tough to explain.

You can set the same mood in a nice hotel room.

Most of the time. It is convenient for me and saves me time. I pay for the extra effort on the ladies parts, but overall I feel comfortable with my choice.

There is always the risk of bringing someone into your home that is not trustworthy.  Also, some ladies won't go to your house if they've never met you before.  If you are looking to see one person and not jumping around, you may invest in either seeing her in a hotel for the first time or seeing her on a dinner date or lunch basis first.  Set a level of comfort.  Just an idea...
