So many guys will drive an hour or two without ever getting the go ahead from the provider, and then she flakes out. No one should have to put up with that, especially a paying client. She owes you an explanation...plain and simple. If she is on P411, you can report her as a ncns but I would give her some time to respond. Sure, things happen beyond our control, but 90 percent of the time it is carelessness, forgetfulness or poor time mgmt. skills.

I find it amusing how many "emergencies" there are on both sides in this business. In 6 years, I have canceled less than 5 times. I have been late maybe only 2 or 3 times, and it was not because I was not ready, but because I maid was right by my door whilst in a hotel, or no phone service in a certain area.
I just recently had a NCNS from a P411 member it is funny how all of these emergencies pop up all of a sudden.Especially the ones that have to send emails more than a month before the appt then all of a sudden the day of the appt there is an emergency.
Then in a few hours or the next day they are good to go.lol
Starts to sound like some people are full of shit.
To the OP sorry a provider no call no showed you it really sucks!
I would move on if she gets back to you in a reasonable amount of time and has a good excuse perhaps maybe you can see her in the future.

But,if you never hear back from her or she brushes you off with a lame excuse I would move on.
I would not waste my time with someone who cannot respect another person's time as they would want their time respected

Hey all, so I've finally enjoyed this hobby a few times. Thanks in large part to the great reviewers and others that are friendly enough to offer advice and encouragement.  So far the experiences have been pretty good, some even great.

However, yesterday I set up an appointment for a well-reviewed provider in my area and I was really excited about seeing her in particular.  Well, everything went fine on the phone, it was short, sweet and informative.  She told me to call one hour ahead today, which I did......but she never answered. So I patiently waited and then proceeded to call her 2-3 more times over the course of the next couple of hours.  Her voicemail was full so I couldn't leave a message, but I'm sure she got my call, because the same thing happened when I called her initially and she called right back.  Anyhow, I got her email address and sent a very polite message basically saying; that we had an appointment, I hoped everything was ok, wanted to see what happened and if she is available in the next few days, etc.  Please know that I was very polite on the phone, we had a good basic conversation, similar to my other experiences.....yet I still didn't hear back from her.

So my question is, does this just happen sometimes (I know guys can be flaky and not show up, but is it the same with providers?), should I try contacting her again or should I just leave it alone?  Is there something I am missing?  Either way it's very frustrating as I don't get to explore this hobby very often and when I do, for things to fall through without even an explanation or a call saying that she had to cancel........it's just damn rude and annoying.  Thanks all.

And if happens on both sides of the coin.  For the girls, it's called NCNS, 'No Call, No Show'.  At this point, your best bet is to move on.  If she had a legit reason for not answering you, she might contact you.  It's also possible that one of her regulars, wanted a multi-hour date, and she just bumped you.  It sucks, but it does happen.

I would not bother trying to contact her, you've already done as much as you can.

Yeah, that's a good point and I guess I thought that maybe it was one of her regulars, but an explanation would go a long way.  Thanks for the response.

Just have to move on and try not to take it personally. Yes, it's rude and unprofessional for sure. I think sometimes providers don't realize how many of us have to juggle our own demanding schedules to set up a meeting, (especially the married folk)  and when it falls trough on their end, it's a real pain. Add the fact that a client is most likely ramped up from the anticipation of meeting and often can't easily book a replacement on short notice.

Yep, it sucks, and you can't stress trying to figure out why. If she had any business sense she would have let you know in advance or at least contacted you after with an apology.  ad who knwos, maybe she had an emergency. Just move on to the next girl and forget about it.

Yeah good points as well.  It sucks especially because yeah my schedule can be very busy and YES I was ramped up. Especially with her, she has great reviews and I was hoping that she would live up to the hype and I might become a regular eventually.  Oh well, thanks for the response.

Thanks so much for your response.  It's nice to hear from someone that's on the other side of this equation.  I imagine that you have to deal with guys standing you up on occasion, but it's nice to know that you take the time and understand how frustrating it is for us as well.  Sounds like you have a great track record as far as reliability.  Damn do I wish you were in my area.  Love your site btw.  Gonna have to make a trip to New Orleans again before too long.  hehe ;)

Most of my "confirmations" are done via texting. Seems like most of the ladies I run into actually prefer that mode of communication especially on the day of the appointment. They may not have time to check emails during incalls or have their phone off, or they may be in the shower and their vociemail is full so you can't leave a message.

No I didn't text her, she made it very clear to call her.  I didn't know that most ladies prefer texting.  In my somewhat limited experience, I've been asked to actually call most of the time.  In fact I see a lot of sites that say specifically "No texting" as hers does.  I feel like texting is easier, but maybe it makes some feel unsafe or rather safer by talking as opposed to texting? Either way, she would have seen my "missed calls" or at the very least or contacted me if she thought I wasn't showing up.....right?  I dunno.....Oh well, I'm over it.  It sucks, but as has been suggested, I'm moving on, and am already trying to set my sights on someone new.  Thanks for the response.

you venture off to BP to try your luck there to save a few bucks?

No, no, no.  I'm no dummy.  At least, I'm less ignorant to all of this than I used to be.  If I was taking a random chance on BP, then I wouldn't be so mystified or frustrated.  This is very well-reviewed provider on this site as are all the girls I seek having learned my lesson and had some sketchy experiences from the old Craigslist days and a random BP girl.  In fact she has several reviews that are glowing, some even claiming her as an ATF for them.  Granted, she does also post on BP in addition to having her own site, but the guys that reviewed her are very experienced, thorough and I trust them based on following some of their past suggestions.  Maybe I'm just the unlucky one out of the bunch?  I dunno, but it's really frustrating.
