Aliases and TER Reviews

I'm not necessarily new to TER, but it is the first time for me to want to review a provider.  Nothing derogatory...She was absolutely incredible.  Anyway, I notice that members can alternate between aliases on the discussion boards.  Can we do so with reviews?  I only want to use the alias that I'm using on this board now.  I made the mistake of using an identifiable username when I signed up.  Upon renewel, I didn't have a choice about changing it.  I have contacted TER support about changing my username, but they are rather slow.  Therefore, I decided to ask other members if there's something obvious on the web site that I'm missing about this problem.  Thanks ahead of time for your help.

You can create a new TER handle and just use that
one.  This is easy if you don't have any reviews.
In fact, the initial reason TER enabled aliases
was so users can talk on the boards w/o people
linking their posts back to their reviews.

If you're a VIP you can wait for you membership
to expire and then sign up (pay) using the new
name.  You have three months to submit a review
from the time of the encounter.

All I did was change my TER handle.   Even though I had prior reviews, the handle was changed, and it changed in the prior reviews as well.

I have not tried to do it, but I thought that TER allow us to change our username whenever we want. The new name becomes the official username. So for those in the know, am I right or wrong or somewhere in between?

If you change usernames you will have no reviews.
Some people think the amount of reviews you have
are an indication of how senior a hobbier you
are.

I've never posted a review.  If you can change your username, then I'm definitely missing something, and would love to know how to change it.  I'm thinking that I will have to wait about reviewing this lady until my membership expires.  I'm going to search again for a way to do this though.  TER hasn't contacted me yet.  Thanks again for the input.
