Newbie question: Agencies or Independent girls?

Hi Y'all,

I have a question about which do you guys prefer: agencies or independent girls?

I've tried an escort agency last month called solidgoldmodels and I paid 1200 for a hour
for a fashion model type girl and I thought the experience was good overall. Now I want
to try this again but I'm confused since I started researching my escort options.

I might try eros (is this the best site?) since I think I can get a hot girl for 2 hours at 600/hr
but I'm confused why is there such a range in pricing? 400-600/hr seems to be the range for
independent girls but is it better to pay twice that for an agency girl since I'm looking for models
with low volume. Please feel to correct my point of view since I'm new to the escort world, thanks.

I'm in NYC btw.

Agencies usually split your donation 50/50 with the provider.  Their job in exchange for this 40-50% cut is to keep a provider booked, so they are typically not low volume  but maybe a 1200/hr escort IS low volume because of the high price.  Hard to say for sure.  If you really wanted low volume, your best bet might be an Independent provider who charges 1K per hour plus, based on your pricing logic.  Preferred411 and TER are your best places to search though Eros would probably help you too.  Independent and agency providers exist in practically all price ranges.

However, price is not necessarily an indication of low or high volume.  I charge far less than that and see an average of one gentleman per week unless I am on tour.  Many providers have other jobs and are low volume because of their busy lives.  The frequency with which a provider is reviewed can be an indication of volume, though it is not an exact science.

Smooches,
Zoey

...charging that much but it's on the high end. You saw that there are other choices at lower rates. Research here.

The thing about agencies is just like anything else some are good and some are not. Independents are good and some are not. Regarding donation amount that is up to you and your financial means. The issue is be sure the agency you use or the provider you see is reputable, reliable, and trustworthy. Don't give out any personal information you aren't comfortable giving out when it comes to screening. (Search for discussions here about references, screening, and P411 (Preferred411)

I had an agency I used that was reliable and reputable. I now see independents. The donation amount was about the same at the agency as what I now pay for independents.

The disparity in donation amounts you asked about is simply some people charge more for something than others. Maybe the more expensive one uses a more expensive hotel but they might not. They may offer wine but may not. Read the web sites see what you get for your money.

I advise you get the VIP membership here and search TER's New York regional ad board. Find ladies you are interested in and read their reviews and check their web sites. I have read discussions here about excellent NYC providers for 400 and 500 an hour. That would make it possible for you to see the lady for more time or set two appointments.

Zoey is correct that agencies do take 40 to 50 % of the donation. The provider gets the rest.

Don't assume the agency lady is lower volume. It's most likely not the case. You really can't tell about the volume. There is no way to be certain. Since many say they want a low volume lady the ladies will claim low volume even if they aren't.

If you haven't already done so you need to read the Self-Help Center. It's on the upper right under the red and white life preserver. Read all the links there. Even the ones aimed at providers. It's best to know all you can from both sides.

Thanks for all the extra info. I actually tried searching eros, ashleypage, back page, city vibe, adult search
for a independent and amazingly enough it's pretty tough finding the right type of girl..no wonder why agencies are in business!

location, location, etc., $1200 is top tier.  Try this--pay the $30 for TER VIP and read reviews of independent ladies in your area.  Spend maybe $600 for the hour and you should have a great time, assuming you did your research.

Thanks, will read the self-help section and I just signed up for the VIP membership. I never knew this industry was so well-structured and popular.

Yeah, damn wall street guys jacking up the prices for everyone. Maybe a sucker for thinking of this but I thought 1200 was the middle tier and 2000+ was the really high end but I'm only talking about model types like 9s or 10s. I just signed up VIP and will do more research on finding the right girl.

I answered your post there but you asked a different question.

I think the rate you spend will depend on your standards for a fashion model type. If you actually want someone who was in a magazine, and being a newbie, you'll probably have to book through an agency, typically one that also handles pornstars (ps for short). Expect to pay in the same range as before or more- $1-2k. Those agencies take a 30-40% cut. You will have to provide verification and possibly several references, much like you would for an Indy. Check the ps board for names of agencies. Datecheck/ P411 will help with verification.

If you want a really hot girl who COULD be a catalog/ bikini model but is not actually one, you can go either the Indy or agency route. Expect to pay $500-1000/h.

If you just want a great looking gfe, there are plenty of indy and agency options at $400-500/h

Always independent f I can. Somebody has to pay the middleman, and that's you. The only agencies I use are the ones who help the ladies from abroad with little English.

You are a liability to an agency if you don't want to work. The more calls you take, the more money they make, so who do you think they are going to give first bidding to... the gal who only wants one a week, or the gal willing to make that agency 1200 a week? The answer is obvious.

As for price... the only reason a gal would not be charging more, is because she can't. I am so sure if the 200 gal could charge 4, she would still be fkin more guys at 200 lol. The higher my rate was, the less volume I got... just basic economics at play. I would have charged 5k if I could have, so just keeping it real for ya, newbie. :) At 1000, I only saw 2 guys a month. At 1200 in NYC, that girl might still be able to pull in a few a week... different market.
