I recently got an appointment request from a potential client and when I asked for a reference he just said it was sexybyraven and gave me the telephone number of the business. That doesn't really count as a reference to me, but then again I don't know how SBR works, as I'm more of a P411 gal. Do any of you know if SBR is accessible for non-member providers to screen SBR-member clients? It seems like a pretty good screening process is built in there, I just don't know how to access it.
Many thanks,
Bella May
don't accept references from agency's or booking agents. Personally, you probably should speak to someone who has seen him, not someone who has arranged the meeting.
Thanks for the tips everyone! I'll call Raven later on today
If you are not comfortable with the reference, ask for others. It's for your safety.

Some agencies will give references some won't. Some providers will accept an agency reference some won't. It's pretty much up to you. I suggest calling SBR. They may tell you they don't give references. That would take care of your situation. If they do give references then you might inquire how they screened him. You then decide if that's acceptable to you. I know most providers say they want to talk to the lady that actually did the session with him. We are glad to help here on the Newbie Board but this might be a question better suited for the Carolinas board. Though I think just calling SBR would be best.
...you have to contact the agency for a reference because you usually cannot contact the agency girls directly.
SBR is an agency, not a screening service so you don't have to be a 'member' to verify one of their clients. Of course, not all agencies are happy about seeing their clients go elsewhere so you'll just have to check with SBR and find out if they're willing to give a reference.

This is incorrect. I used to work with them, and have known Raven for years. I am not sure why people insist on making it more exciting, but it is not.
Sexy By Raven is not an agency, they are assistants who happen to have their own website. They do give references, and screen just like anyone else who doesn't want to get into trouble (some have described them as "tough", though I think that is more regarding newbies or no references). You will likely speak with an assistant, but they keep pretty good track of who will not be seen by who. Because you won't always speak to the girls directly (some will answer their mail, some won't), you may not get as personal of a reference, but in terms of "is he a cop or a murderer", they can certainly be trusted. If he has done something to be blacklisted, or gets "Do No See" listed by three different girls, he's done, and they will let you know.
They are very professional. They still provide references for me, even after I moved on.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it most likely is a duck.
So, how is SBR different than an agency if it performs these screening services which agencies are noted for doing?
And how are they different from any assistant? Because they represent multiple girls, just like some assistants do?
They don't advertise, they don't get hotels, they don't do pictures... Those girls pay for every single thing you see. SBR just assists with whatever the girl is willing to pay them for.
Just because you can't tell the difference doesn't mean there isn't one. Sometimes you have to be behind the scenes to truly know.

I have both given and gotten from them. they are very professional on the phone and by email. They will need his name and phone number to look him up.
Hope this helps.
