These have been collected from these boards...   I thank the members who have shared their mis-adventures.  This is not to condem the ladies who deliver as promised but to give warning of some of the known scams so they may be avoided.  

Bait & Switch...  ads with pictures not her own or seriously out of date or sends another lesser provider.  (Images on ads can be searched to see if they are stolen internet photos)

Runner or 'cash & dash'  Grabs the cash & bolts for the door.  

Runner or 'take off' After recieving the cash, announces she left the condoms in the car, goes out to get them & runs.  (Suggest retaining the cash if she neds to leave.)

Runner After recieving cash, does not have condoms, you drive her to the store, she runs...  (suggest retaining the donation, have a small bill if she needs cash for purchase)  There is something to be said for having a sealed 3 pack of condums to shoot down such scams.  
   
Runner After recieving cash, does not have condoms, you drive her to the store, you wait outside, she tells the clerk a story (coersion, pressure etc) is let out another door...  she runs...   with your donation.  The cops show up!  (Retain the donation...  you don't know her!)
   
She promises/implies services which are withdrawn from menu after payment.  (This refers mainly to large scale changes)
Another variation is rather than deliver services, she does a dance or shows lingerie...  when you try to move to the main course, she claims she doesn't do that.  "What kind of a girl do you think I am?"  
 
The switchero  First review BBBJ, later customers CBJ.  (Read reviews)

Clocks set ahead:  so you don't get your time allotment.
   
Reviewed:  Link to TER or other reviews.  Take the time to read the reviews.  Existance of reviews does not mean they are good reviews!  We've seen ads with links to horrible reviews!  I guess they were counting on guys not checking.    
   
Up sell:  She collects payment & suddenly services are extra cost.  (Read reviews)
   
The Banker:  Asks for cash advances or loans, sometimes to be worked off or repaid in cash... then refuses your calls or disappears.  (Note:  Some experienced hobbiests choose to take these chances & advise never loan money you can't afford to lose or just gift outright.)
   
The Deposit Ripoff: There are exceptions where it might make sense to pay a deposit... like travel expenses or a large time block reserved (over night, weekend, an extended night of dinner & dancing) where she is turning away others to accomidate you.  But in general, deposits leave you open to be ripped off. You pay the deposit & she  suddenly becomes hard to reach or ignores you all
 together.   There's no way to force compliance. Remember, you can't legally contract for an illegal act.
   
Thief:  When you are not looking, items or cash disappear.  
   
Scout:  After appointment your residence is burlarized.  Sometimes doors or windows become unlocked during the appontment.  

Blackmail The provider finds out too much personal information about you, and threatens to post or give out your information to who ever (job, media, family) in exchange for hush money.  Not a good idea to pay extortion.  Blackmail / extortion are felonies.  It is suggested you get legal help before going to the authorities.  
   
Gorilla:  She seems legit, you are getting "comfortable" and all of a sudden some big ape is pounding on the door or busting down the door and you just want to get out of there with your life.

Mugging:  The girl or her thug block your exit and you aren't allowed to leave unless you give them all the money you have in your possession.

Or the ones where she is stalling for time, you may be undressed but she still has her clothes on, she is doing a  little dance, strip tease, etc, mostly dressed.  Outside one of her friends is breaking in your car and  stealing anything and everything they can find of value. The session doesn't actually happen, she's stalled long enough  that you pretty much know you've been screwed, you go back  outside to find your car's been broken into and she acts like she knows nothing about it. (I read a review on another  site where this is standard MO at this girl's incall).
   
I also read a review where the girl took the money and then went to the bathroom and locked the door, and didn't come out - the guy waited 4 hrs and she did not come out. (said she had a computer and phone in bathroom with  her, btw).        
   
She gets on the phone with her "agency" & asks specific questions about sex acts & money.  You invite her to  leave & there are no hooker refunds.  (Probably done to freak out a newbie Re:  Possible LE sting)  
   
Scammers are very slick... they have the move all planned & can even be out the door before you can protest.  There  are some who should be in the Olympics... track team! Many of the scams work best (against us) on out-calls  to your home or hotel room. Place the donation well into the
 bedroom, not near the door!  
   
I should caution that it's generally illegal to physically lock someone in or physically restrain them... think  kidnapping or unlawful restraint charges... still we don't have to make ourselves look like an easy mark!  This is  supposed to be  FUN!  Again, well reviewed providers are the best bet for newbies & the risk adverse

Do not tell LE that you don't know her.

This was described in a post.  A much better approach is to AVOID being put in this position. This is the point of this post.  Have condoms available & not to drive her anywhere.  She got there somehow!  Try to not to let her leave with your donation.

so scams can be avoided or at least mitigated.  You can't stop a gal from walking out...  but can hopefully avoid rewarding her (and her bf's) profiting from it.  That's all.

Agreed. It's called "obstruction" and can really screw you so Mr. Fisher is correct. Say Nothing other than,"I am staying silent and I do not consent to ANY searches." AND "I want my lawyer". Then shut up. They can't "Help" you and everything you say will be manipulated to hurt you so SHUT UP!

All of this is true & correct, (and I know better, too.  I plead a brain fart!)  Do not make false statements to the Police.  STFU!  "Deny Everything" is just what we are saying is wrong, if you know it to be a false statement.  
 
However the situation initially described is better managed by avoidance.  If you have condoms on hand, there's no reason for her to go out for them.  (If she wants to leave, you can't force her to stay.  But don't willingly let her walk out with the full donation.)  One guy said the smallest bill he had on him was a $20, she went to gift shop for condoms & didn't come back.  At least he only lost a 20.  
With more time to think about it, It seems unwise, driving her anywhere in your personal vehicle.  I can't think of anything good that would happen sitting outside the corner drug store waiting for a gal to come out.  I can see "her" pointing out your car to the clerk, telling how she doesn't want to go with you & you are "making her".  It goes down hill from there.  Expect to be face down in the parking lot with guns pointed at you.  The charge will be:  suspicion of human trafficing.  Even if she takes off, You might still be held while LE appeals for her to come forward.  And it was all avoidable.

"Gift Shop" runner:  After recieving donation, she does not have condoms.  She offers to get them from the hotel gift shop.  He's uneasy with her leaving with the donation & she returns it.  She makes him feel bad for not trusting her.  He gives her his smallest bill, a $20, to make the purchase & she goes into the gift shop...  and runs with his 20$.  
(recomendation: Have small bills for incidental purchases.

Condoms from a hotel gift shop probably are around $20. Hell, they charge $5/bottle for water and it's the most abundant resource on the planet.  

If you end up in a room with LE, you are already screwed.  Even if you say nothing incriminating, it's your word against theirs even if they heard you correctly.  You might beat them in court (if you STFU), but likely you'll be leaving in chrome braclets anyway.  However, the purpose of TEr & review sites in general is to so you can know you are seeing a well reviewed provider.  Not that it can't happen but much less likely that a well reviewed provider will be flipped by the Police, as opposed to a sting which is easy for LE to do.
Stings do happen but they are realitively rare compared to the total scams...  and the scams are rare among well reviewed providers.  Your best bet is avoidance by seeing well reviewed providers, which is the universal recommendation for newbies.
A sealed 3 pack...  might or migght not be used against you but if LE is patting you down, you are already in trouble

but sadly even well reviewed ladies can be scam artist, cash and dashers and blackmailers, not the majority, but there are some, and the sad thing is, they are sill getting reviewed, something i will never understand, if you grab and run, or sit in a bathroom for 4 hours,  or do ANY of the things on this list ,you should be done in this business, but that unfortunately is not the case.

If you actually met her...  even if no action took place...  then TER allows a review.  It ought to be fair is all.  It is surprising how many scam reviews or bad performance reviews a gal will have listed...  3 or 4 in a row...  What was he thinking?   Theonly thing I can think of is the guy didn't bother to read the review in advance.  WTF??    
Well reviewed providers realize their reviews & their good reputation for service is VALUEABLE & they want to protect it...  by continuing to give good service.  Can a person give in to temptation??  Fall off the wagon?  What ever?  Yes.  But if prospective clients do their research, our odds improve

Every guy would read, or do a review of her she would be shut down under that name and phone number.

The only problem with review is that a small percentage of guys will do, or check reviews before booking a date with a girl. My point is this when the day comes when there is a larger percentage of guys checking and doing reviews of girls it will make it harder for scams to happen. As long their is guys who find a ad of girl and call her so she can rip him off, this will never end

Personally I do my home work on any girls I want to see. If she has a ad up on a board that is know for fake ads then I will not see them. If it sound to be to true be real I will keep moving on. I mostly see girls that has ad on P411 or with reviews on here. Never had any problems with them. Only when I use the other board is when I ran across less then good times

I don't know about you, but twenty bucks is "change".

This "scam" makes no sense at all. First off, assuming it's an outcall, I NEVER travel without condoms and this would be impossible on an incall as she would be leaving him alone in HER room.

Come on HV. you need to think these things through before posting.

Somehow I am not worried about this particular scam ever catching on.
