So I've recently renovated my website and have been having trouble posting a provider ad on TER ever since!! Now they're telling me the link I'm providing doesn't link to my website. It does! You just need to fill out the contact form in order to receive the website credentials..... Help please!

Picture removed to comply with no ad policy on this board.

I would strongly suggest you remove the requirement of registration to see anything on your site.  Many guys, including myself, when they see that, will just leave and not bother to register.  In all honesty, I don't see why you want that.  I really think you will lose a lot of potential clients unless you ditch the registration requirement.

Swim

but the registration thing will keep guys away. I won't bother when confronted with this on a ladies site.

That shouldn't be an issue with posting ads! If it were they should add it to the long list of requirements to post an ad.... Until then, seeing as how my ad meets every other requirement, it should be posted! The whole site is not private, it's verified clients only for privacy and safety reasons. You can still access my Welcome page and contact form, more than enough info needed to then ask for website credentials. If you're too lazy or too shady to do this then I would prefer to not have those type of clients! I've been doing this long enough to not have to stress over new clients. Certain little perks and privileges are for loyal clients only...

Lazy or shady? neither. Just an extra step I'm not willing to take. We all protect ourselves whatever way we see fit. There was no reason for you to assume and attack.

I recommend you contact TER admin through "contact us" and ask what's wrong with your ad or PM the moderator of the ad board you are trying to post it on. I hope you are able to get an answer. Though I won't be interested in your ad.

I do not know why your registration form is an issue preventing your ad from being posted, you will have to ask the mod of the board where you want to post it.  I have never had this situation on the regional board that I moderate.  While it's true, you can organize your site in any manner you deem appropriate, I just think the registration form is a turn-off to a large number of potential clients for you.

The way I read your comments above, we have to be screened just to see your website?  Since you don't have any reviews, how are prospective clients supposed to know anything about you if they don't register on your site?  You don't even indicate where you are, so how would anyone know if you are convenient to them in location?  We can't even see a picture of you to determine whether or not we might want to see you, again without registering.

I resent being called lazy and shady, I think that was totally uncalled for.  If that's your attitude towards those of us that choose not to jump thru your hoops, I'm not sure I would want to see you anyway.   According to your newest post you have not even been providing for 2 years, that's not very long, IMHO.  The only accessible info on your website is basically useless unless we register on your site.  However, you are free to conduct your business any way you see fit.

I know you are probably upset with some of the comments on this thread, but guys are looking for the easy way to contact providers, and don't always have the time to fill out lengthy forms, especially just to see a website.  Lots of guys won't even use contact forms the many providers put on their sites to screen for a possible date, so the likelihood of them filling yours out just to see your website is even less.

Well I'm glad you were interested enough to respond more than once buddy! And I'm sorry you did not fully understand the point... I've already wrote to TER more than once asking what the problem was. It's always something different. This post was more for the administrators. What goes on after someone contacts me from these posts has nothing to do with TER. If my ad meets all requirements, why, now, make up new ones to justify my ad not being posted?

I'm not upset at all by any of the comments. That is the point of these types of boards. Now, to just answer a few questions. I actually do have a couple of reviews up on TER, I just didn't care enough to link them to my account. TER is not my way of attracting clients. It's more of an outlet. If I have questions, if I want to know what's going on etc. I thought this was more of a welcoming site for hobbyists and providers alike. I have been in the business for almost 2 years like I said. I started out with an agency here in Ma which is where I met 2 or 3 of my still loyal friends. I never asked for any opinions on my website, any help running it or anything of the sort. I tried posting a provider ad, thinking I had met all requirements, since it was not my first time trying, and yet again am going in circles.... Now. if you were to google miss dalia minxx, you would have abs no problem finding out exactly what you need to know about me. It is not my fault some people out there are computer illiterate or too LAZY to do so. This is exactly what PROVIDERS MUST do to ensure their safety and verify their clients. I must say, TER is turning into more of a HOBBYIST friendly website. Even though they clearly try to thank and welcome PROVIDERS for joining and acknowledging the fact that there would be no HOBBYIST without the PROVIDER....

then why bother posting here, and insulting us?  Granted, you didn't ask for opinions about your website, but by posting here, you opened the door for us to offer opinions.  We gave them and you got upset.  If you don't want reviews, just say so.

Since your handle here is MsMinxx, how was anyone supposed to know to google 'Miss Dalia Minxx'?  There was nothing on your website that we could read w/o registering, or on your posts, to indicate that name, so what did you expect?  We don't know MsMinxx and Miss Dalia Minxx are the same person, esp if we have never seen the name Miss Dalia Minxx.  It's not our fault that you assume everyone knows who you are.

BTW, TER is for hobbyists to find out about providers.  Also, if you post again on the Newbie board with a picture, it will be considered an ad and deleted, just so you know.
