What, if anything, to make of this?

About a month and a half ago, I wanted to see a provider so I called her, got no answer, so I left a message.  A few hours later, I sent her an email just in case she may have checked her emails before her voicemail.  Bottom line is she never called or emailed me back, so I moved on and saw someone else.
Over the last week, I have received about 5 emails from her (replying to my email from earlier) telling me that she currently has a special going on and asking when I would like to see her.  I'm thinking business is slow and she needs money.  A month ago, I would have been interested, but now, I am not.  I am learning to trust my instincts with things like this.  Was wondering what some of the veterans of this hobby would make of this.  Thanks.

... for any of many possible reasons from 'no money', 'got a GF', 'you pissed me off the last time', 'I just realized that I'm gay'.  The reason doesn't matter.  It's then vs now.  You could just tell her politely that you'll contact her if you'd like to see her in the future and that she doesn't need to send you any more emails

If she was not interested on seeing you or whatever reason she had, she should of not contact you again, sending a "special rate" to someone who she didn't have the courtesy of getting back to within a reasonable amount of time, just gives me a really bad idea of her business practices and may indicate that she is a flake. You did the right thing, move on. Plenty of other girls who really treat gentlemen with the respect and courtesy they deserve.

I generally avoid touring providers because I like to see favorites who appeal to me.  I can't be sure when I'll be available & I just feel I do better if they are located within my travel area.  IMHO, I'd not be interested now because she was unresponsive when you were available.

I have a Hobby email and a Hobby phone. So if someone wants to blow up my contacts it's fine with me. I like to be contacted in case I'm interested in the action. Don't know if you have a Hobby phone and email but having them definitely takes the stress out of being contacted so frequently. Me personally I wouldn't respond then if you ever feel like seeing her then respond. Providers are like Butterflies. One teeny thing and they fly away. Best not to say anything unless you want to see her. If you don't want her to contact you ever again then yes email her thank you but I'm not looking for a date. Otherwise just stay silent.

in that you are suspect of this flooding of your inbox. As others have said, either politely email her and say that you will contact her when you want to see her or, just ignore and maybe move her email to your spam so you do not get bothered again.

Depending on the info you shared with her in the initial email or voice message, she might get pissed that you do not intend to see her and go off. Maybe even blacklist you.

I would simply ignore her and mark her emails as spam. If you know her number(s), block them if you can. It is quite clear that rent is due, business is slow or she needs the extra $$$ for the holiday shopping season. If you do see her, what you are really doing is encouraging such behavior and diminishing your self worth.

The MD area is fairly active with LE activity as well and is it Montgomery County that is always super hot? You want to make sure that LE is not behind that email trying to initiate contact and set you up. Five emails in a weeks is unusual

she emails me 2012 that she;'s in town. almost one year later. (shaking my head)

of course, I ignored her.
