Who says they have to post an ad every day? As swim said, if it is a TER ad, they can only post once a week anyway. On other sites they may be paying for an ad to be up for a month, then it expires if they didn't renew it. Different ad sites have different rules, and different payment options. The ladies have their own reason for posting where and when they post. Most ladies post on multiple sites also, so how do you know if an ad is down on one site but still active on another site. I would only not contact them if they have an ad or a post on their website that specifically says they are not available. (vacation etc.)
As mrfisher said, the worse that can happen is they won't respond, ot they will respond telling you they are not available.

Even if she isn't available that day doesn't me she wont be available when you are interested in meeting her.
Personally I try not to post an ad on BP more than twice a week because I have to pay every time I post an ad.
I dont mind a gentleman calling or emailing and introducing himself. even if I am not available at the time he wants me, we might hit it off and we might be able to figure out a different date and time to get together.
I will contact a well-reviewed lady whether she has posted an ad recently or not. Remember, on TER a lady can only post one ad every week on her regional board. If you are trolling BP and not verifying reviews here, you will be disappointed.
