for calling you.  This is to verify that you do indeed work there, and are most likely, not LE.  That's all.  What they do with the info you gave them after verifying your workplace is anyone's guess.  After your verified in this manner, they really do not have any need to retain it.

That goes for anyone (indy or agency) that gets your personal information.  It is NEVER discarded (despite that they will tell you that they destroy it immediately after your session).  Always make sure that you carefully consider this prior to giving out any personal info.

Read on these boards so you clearly understand the risks of voluntarily giving out your personal info.  You may want to consider a screening service (so that you have only given this info out to one source) as a way to mitigate how many have your personal info.

There are many, many stories here about unsolicited contact from the ladies.  And too many stories of "client rosters" from agencies.

Do your homework and read these stories so you are well informed of the risks.
