Hi folks,

I found a provider I'd really like to see.  But, she has no reviews on here.  Turns out she does have a few reviews on ********* and they look pretty good.

However, I'm not a member of *********,and don't know much about it --is it a reliable site? Do y'all consider reviews on there reliable? Trying to judge the risk here...

First of all you can't mention any other provider review sites on TER for obvious reasons. And I assume you can tell that now, since all your info got **d out. In my opinion, TER is the best review site on the net. There are some others that are scams, and there are some others that are good sites. In some areas of the country other sites are better and more widely used than TER. So it depends where you are. All I can tell you is that you need to do more research on the other site, and possibly join it if it seems legit so that you can find out about the lady. Or stick to TER ladies.

One possible way to get help on TER regarding other sites is through PMs. You can post on your regional board, (under your true handle of course) asking people to PM you names of other reputable sites. You may or may not get help. It has worked for me when travelling to areas outside my home area where I know TER is not the most popular site. (For example while there are TER reviewed girls there, TER is not the most popular site in Seattle, Portland, or San Fransisco)

Or you can truly TOFFT, but be aware of the risks.

If you have the ability to see if the hobbyists who wrote the reviews have written other reviews, you might take a chance. However, TBH, why chance it, just see a well reviewed TER escort.  You asked a legit questions, there really is no reason, I can think of, why you would use an alias. While aliases are allowed, check out most of the posts here, everyone pretty much uses their "real" TER handle on the Newbie board.

Thanks for the replies.  I'd forgotten about not mentioning other sites on here, my apologies ... very glad I asked this question on the Newb board first :).

As for the alias, I was advised by friends when I joined to keep reviews, board id's, and my main account separate for a few different reasons.  I do know there are people that disagree with that, and it's definitely a pain to not be able to get PMs, so I'm considering not using the alias anymore.

I'm not saying to not see her ever...  but don't be in such a hurry.  This hobby is not Match . com.  If she is legit, she'll get reviews.  Keep her on your bucket list for when you get some more experience.
I suggest you start researching here on TER.  I like to do a simple search for my area on the review section.  Read the profile, look at real pictures?  Services as promised?  Follow the ads links & hope she has some pictures...  a variety of pictures from different angles so that taken in total, you know what she looks like.  Ads with the same picts over & over make me suspect they are old or stolen.  Then look at reviews.  I tend to not trust first reviews, as it's hard to Police them unless by an established reviewer.  Really want 6-10 reviews with pretty much the same story...  and some established reviewers...

Once you have some successful meetings, you'll know better what to look for & know how this works...  so something unusual will stick out & you'll know to avoid.

It's your good name on any TER Board that will win you a vote of confidence and help from other members. Don't start out on the wrong foot because your bound to trip and fall.

The private PM mail is only available to paid members and even if you were a paid member an alias can't get mail.

I would never suggest a newbie take a risk with an unknown lady. Let's talk about the other sites. If your not a VIP there you'll get the same info as here "NONE"  That is just the way it is since it's costly to run a board like this.

Now if you were a newbie with a track record of postings here and one or more gentlemen took a liking to your posts they might give you a hand. Don't don't don't use an alias

I have seen providers who only ad reviews on others hobby sites, and there is on outside of TER I trust. What I usually do is see how recent those reviews, are and check to see if the young has old ads posted in other cities, and how old they are.

When a provider has not reviews on TER, I'll usually go by reviews from this other site, and ads by a 6month history of info. Because she's been getting reviewed, and has ads in different cities, it me feel comfortable knowing she's legit. After I see her, I bring her on over with a TER review.

If I were I would personally wait a while before you do this. There are a lot of things you need to look into before you TOFTT.

look you are new (as am I) and this is not the time to be thinking about TOFTT. Study this board and learn what you need to know before you go off UN-eduacteded

about the alias.  You are much less likely to get a mean reply on this board, as this area of TER is to help newbies, not ridicule them.  As moderator, if I see a mean post here I will probably remove it.  If you want private answers to a question, use your real handle.  Save the alias for other boards.
