I was near Savannah GA and confirmed via text an 11am appointment with Brooke (TER ID: 210982) for the next day and she gave me a solid confirmation. Texted her the next day about a half hour before the appt. and she indicated she wasn't ready and need more time to get to her location. I OKed. 30 min after our scheduled time i sent her another text re status she indicated she was buying a car and would not be able to meet until several hours later. I cancelled and went back to ATL.
I have only been in the hobby for a couple of months. What advice to you have for not getting stood up as i wasted a lot of time and effort on this one. Some friends told me never to book any provider rated below a 7.
Get used to it. I haven't had bad luck lately, but some providers are not going to show up. They sometimes have real life issues and I imagine some get multi-hour sessions offered and blow off the one hour guy.
What always bugged me was they NEVER call and cancel, you're always left driving around texting or leaving messages wondering if you have been ncns'ed. My new attitude is, I am never sure about a meeting until I am in the door! Haven't had a cancellation once I was there yet LOL. Better luck next time!
thers will say that you can post this to the regional board. I think this is only so useful because the post will be forgotten soon. Like others I wish TER had a way we could go into the providers profile and indicate that she did this, and they kept a statistic about it.
This just happens from time to time with independent providers, you get used to it. The only suggestion I have to find a use a good agency
1) NCNS is part of the hobby. It happens with the best of them. There is no way to absolutely guarantee that it will not happen. Get used to it, or be prepared to suffer.
2) The girl you called has a TER presence, that is true. However, she has five very mediocre reviews that pretty much tell you that she is not very professional, not GFE, and a skinny little rat. You could have chosen better. 3) It's never a bad idea to have a contingency plan, especially if you are travelling, or if you are putting a lot of importance on the date. 4) The number ratings by themselves really don't mean much, they are just one man's opinion. But when a girl is getting consistantly low - or mediocre - numbers, it probably indicates hat you could do better elsewhere.
Thanks for posting. I checked with TER and they indicated that posting to this board is the only thing i can do. I think choosing better is the best way to go.
Thanks for this great post. I have a weakness for skinny redheads - can't help it. You are absolutely right - I should have chosen better. Once i was back at home base I found several p411 options along the way I should have gone with. Live and learn!
My question is this, why would you drive from ATL to Savannah to see a provider when the selection in the greater ATL metro area is so large? There has got to be a skinny redhead in ATL that can rock your world.
ATL is great! But actually I think both SKINNY and REDHEAD are in short supply globally. I was in Hilton Head so I thought I would do a quick Savannah drive by. So much for that. No worries! I already have an -on route- P411 provider picked out for my next HH trip.
Ahh could it be....that TER and REVIEWED ladies aren't always the best bet?? Oh my gosh!!

I would say that I get a NCNS at least 10-20% of the time. And I only see providers with a rating above an 8. Heck, I had a double NCNS from one with a 9.1! (She didn't show, apologized profusely, asked for another chance, tried again a few days later, NCNS!)
since she confirmed with you the day before, she shouldn't have gone to even look at cars until after your appt. doesn't make sense. But please don't fault the rest of us, or exclude us due to one missed connection. She's the one who lost out, no need to hold anything against any other provider over what she did. Us girls have had many guys, even confirm day of , even one hour beforehand & then they don't show. It's no excuse, but it happens both ways, things do come up, appts. run late which sucks if you have 3 appts set & the first one is late, then for some reason ya just can't get him out the door without being rude & you have someone waiting at an intersection for directions, or you gotta rush off to an outcal. I've been late getting ready a few times, but my regs give me less than 20minutes to get ready, I don't even bother telling them I just sat down to eat cuz they don't want to hear it & will keep me on the phone telling me why it has to be right now. Anyways, I dnt think the reviews numbers have anything to do with it either, in fact I know for a fact that many reviews are given in return for discounted even free sessions so those gotta be given a 10 (& I know this cuz many hobbyists have asked me to give them discounted sessions for a review & even used it as blackmail to spread negative stuff if I didn't, so of course I didn't & actually pulled my ad from one of the sites where the guy was trying to blackmail me for a discount. Anyways, sometimes things just happen, alot of us hide our professions from our families & even our friends & if something happens with our kids, we dont want to share that information with clients we just make something up
