I'm a newbie and was wondering how the 2 call system works. Is it an effective for me to tell if it's LE or more for them so they don't think I'm LE or a creep? Also, I've called a few providers on my cell. Unfortunately my wife's name is on caller I.D(family plan) and I haven't got any callbacks. Lazy providers or they think something is up? Discuss...

Most providers are not used to seeing a ladies name appear on caller id. 2 call system is for the safety of the provider. The first call usually gets you to the general area of the ladies incall. The second call gets you the specific address. Sometimes the lady can actually see you when you make the 2nd call. Ladies normally do not want to give out specific addresses on the first call, just in case you pull a no show.

I agree don't use a phone with your wifes name on caller id.

the two call system can benefit you if the provider or the providers area has issues.

In my experience, the first call is what hotel they'll will be in.  

Some ladies will be looking at the parking lot, and when you park .. you call the 2nd time. And they give you their room number.

2 providers were in a room where they could see the parking lot and my car.

I was surprised one time because when I met the provider on the door - she said .. Oh I really like your car .. that's my dream car.  Clearly, she was watching during the 2nd call.

Get a cheap pre-paid phone for fun you do not want to call providers from a phone that has a plan you share with your wife.Now wonder if your wife checks the bill & sees phone# starts calling those phone numbers back,you never know now you really have a problem.Plus most ladies would be wary of answering phone or calling a number back w/a woman's name on the Caller id

The providers are doing you a favor.  You are being sloppy...  using a family phone.  You need to be totally careful.  Separate e-mail, not linked to your main accts & a secure password that can't be cracked.
You need a hobby phone.  Turn it off when not in use.  Buy with cash.  Use a phony name, street address.  I have mine linked to my hobby e-mail.  
Never use a CC anywhere you're not supposed to be.
Set your computer to clear memory every time.  Always shut off after use.  Do not use work computers to access adult sites (guys have been fired for this) unless you own the company.  Do not use work network on your own laptop.  

Read the newbie manual (link in red at the top of this board) then read back several pages until you can answer every question yourself.

Be more careful than you think you need to be.  Do not leave a paper trail or other tracks.  As I have been in this, I have realized my initial security was inadequate & have continued to upgrade my security.

hey ...shudaknownbetter  ya forgot this one if you are talking to providers on yahoo im  be sure to erase your messenger profile out of yahoo ..  as wives might act dumb but once they figure out the pc they can try to trace your msgs too but its best not to use a family cell plan to contact providers on it.

Most of my dates have my cell number plugged into their cells as a guys name from work.  and i got a regular computer generated voice mail on my cell not to raise questions if they call   they hear some computer thanking them for calling

As others have said, get a hobby phone! If your wife's on the caller ID, that means she's the Master user of your family plan! She can look up your phone records, add features to track you (depending on how advanced your phone is), and a whole host of other things.

If she ever gets suspicious, you're simply SOL.

If you're going to do this, don't be stupid. From the sound of it, you already started off wrong. Stop what you're doing, take some time to seriously figure out how to be safe and only then dive in.

as to why you were seeing escorts because in less than a month when the phone bill comes home your will be looking at it. In does not matter if the bill is online, she will look at it and any long distance call, unusual number, numbers, calls that last less than a minute will stand out. It will be even worse if your family routinely goes over your plans allotted minutes giving her more reason to check the statements.

I would intentionally lose your phone and get a new one. If she brings it up, try telling her the person who found your phone made those calls. It is the best excuse I can think of right now.

You need to forget about hobbying for now because there is a chance your wife may keep quiet and pretend she does not know anything but in reality she know but only trying to buy time while she digs up more evidence.

All the posters above have given very good advice that you need to follow should you eventually try to hobby again but make sure you are in the clear first before you do.  

The reason why no provider is calling you back or answering your call is simple. They can see your wife's name on their caller ID and they all think it is a pissed off wife of one their clients who got caught.

I don't use IM.  I about freaked when it started appearing on my accounts prompting me to use it.  When I was on my hobby e-mail it was telling me who of my contacts was on-line!!  I quickly figured out how to shut it off.  Yes, this could bite you in the arse!

See what I mean.  Eternal vigilence!  All of these suggestions need to be viewed through the filter of your life pattern.  ie:  Using the gym excuse might work for some but not for me.

I've noticed that after typing in Y account log in info, one does NOT go directly to e-mail as was once the case...  but diverted to a Y News (maybe my settings).  But I'm still logged into that mail account!  If one gets distracted, MIGHT leave the mail account open with potential for disaster.
