The 'Modified' message may be an edit by a board moderator or the original author may edit his/her own message within 24 hours of its posting.

Speaking for myself....I'm a fairly good writer and speller but a crappy hunt & peck typist.  If I know I'm going to post a long message (or a review) I'll do so outside of TER, utilize a spell checker and then cut/paste into TER.  However the nature of board discussions is that one often replies in a conversational flow.  So for me, my first replies may contain typo errors.  When I read my post afterwards, I get embarrassed, edit it to correct my mistakes and hence the 'Modified' message is footnoted on the reply.

What does it mean when a message contains this statement:

"-- Modified on 11/2/2006 6:27:09 PM"

Also, is it ok to post questions like this here or is it preferred to sen an email or PM?  If so, to what address?

Thank You,

Goodzilla!

It means that the message was modified at the date/time noted.

Questions of general interest should be posted on the Newbie board, although my PM box is always open.
