life preserver at the just left of center, and just up from center area of your screen when you are on the Newbie Board page.  This is if you are using the new TER.

If you are on classic TER, look for the Newbie and Acronym link in the center of the screen, just up from the middle.

It's there.

As a newbie trying to learn all the acronyms, can someone direct me somewhere for a tutorial or provide some answers. Feeling pretty stupid. (DT, DATY, RCG, CG, LFK, DFK, MISH, etc, etc.)

a few pages on the Newbie Board and many of your questions will be answered.  In reality, most questions repeat every 4 or 5 days.  There is a serach function to use too.
