Providers Blacklist Bad Reviewers?

I've no idea if this is true.  I'm sure a Couple of providers out there do.  Any idea how common place this is?

If I take the time to read someone's reviews and notice that he nit-picks, has a distinct preference for activities I dislike/don't offer, or seems to always find fault with every lady, then I will likely pass on seeing him.  Which means he's on my personal DNS list, but I haven't actually blacklisted him.  ;-)

But as to your question?  Yes, some ladies have been irritated enough by a bad review someone wrote to then blacklist him.  Hopefully, she is honest and simply enters him as a low-scorer or some such rather than making up lies that would seriously deter other providers.

Hell, some prolific TER posters are blacklisted under their handles alone, with no claims of anything negative taking place, merely comments that the person is a PITA or a mysoginist.
I don't take such blacklists very seriously, nor would most seasoned providers. :-)

Not criticizing you at all Debra, if I were you, I would do the same and ask for the info.

This is more directed at the newbie guys here who may not know they got turned down, or not responded to at all, from girls they really want to see.

So I guess I will answer it both ways. lol

If you mean will some providers refuse to see guys who they perceive as "tough graders" then the answer is a most definite YES. Many providers won't see a guy who they think is overly harsh with his reviews which is a good reason for such guys to review under their alias.

If you mean will a butthurt provider put a reviewer on one of the various "black lists" out there simply in retaliation for a bad review, then unfortunately the answer is also yes, but it happens much more rarely. The sad fact of the matter is that a woman can put a guy on a BL for any reason she wants, or for no good reason whatsoever. It would amaze me if I weren't on at least a couple of BL site simply for the shit I say on the discussion boards, but I have more than enough women to vouch for me for it to have any impact on my ability to get a date.

So yes it happens, but the former happens a lot more than the latter.  It's unfortunate that bad behavior happens on both sides of the transaction. Guys have been known to threaten girls with a bad review if she won't perform acts she is uncomfortable doing or for not giving a "discount" to an active reviewer because he has it in his mind that he can "make or break" her career via the reviews boards. On the other side of this are women who threaten to out a guy, or otherwise destroy his life for a transgression no bigger than giving an 8-8 review when she is accustomed to 10-10s.  It cuts both ways, and it's not a perfect system, but it's the best one that we've got.

It can be as simple as a lady does not want to take the risk of really screwing up her scores...but it also is about truly wanting to please your partner.  I desire with each date I book that they walk away saying WOW! If it appears a gent just does not say wow ever or rarely, then I worry that I will feel empty, hurt as he walks away from me with his typical pessimistic view of ladies in the hobby.  Honestly, if one has more than 5 bad expereinces, I cannot imagine why to continue.

i think we hit fucking Paydirt again!!
