A provider that you have seen who says you are ok for another provider to see.  If you have written reviews, you can ask the ones you have seen to give you a whitelist referral.  If the provider has given whitelist referrals before, she will know what to do.  It's not really as complicated as you seem to think it is.

A provider might want the name and contact info of one you have seen so she can contact her to ask about you.

Dear Fellow Ter Users,

What exactly is meant by reference?
Do they ask for the agent number and the providers name I last seen and cross check with them my phone number ?

It is so confusing ?

If at all some ones want to refer me, how do they do that ?  Add an okay to my whitelist when I give them my ter id ?  Or How ?

Please give me basics in details.

but if you are asking about provider references there are different ways they deal with them. You are asking for details, but there are no details, as different providers do it differently. Some are okay with whitelists. Some are okay with verification services "OKs" such as p411 and date check and rs2k. Some will want your personal and work information. If you are talking specifically about "provder references" then generally you will give the lady you want to see the names and contact information of 1, 2, or 3 providers you have seen (preferably recently) Two is common but again every lady is different in what she requires. You should also contact those ladies and tell them you gave their info as references for you. The new lady will contact them and ask if you are okay to see.

Hopefully that answers your question.

She will ask you for what she needs or wants to verify you. Every girl is going to approach this a little different.

As others have stated, a reference is simply an escort you have seen before confirming that you are okay to see.

For me, I research the reference before contacting her. If she is unreviewed and her ads are all fairly new, I won't accept her as a reference. If she checks out, I will contact her (usually via email) with whatever information I have to see if she has seen the guy.

I don't keep records of clients. So, for a reference check (when a guy I've seen wants to use me as a reference), I search my email or Google Voice account with the phone number or email to see if/when I saw him. I think this is pretty common, but some girls I've contacted have a spreadsheet.

Names don't matter for the most part... just phone numbers and email addresses.

White listing is a great way to be "preverified" and I don't know why more guys don't do that.

White listing is a good verification. There have been some ladies on the boards though that said they didn't consider white listing useful and wouldn't really use it. That may be one reason why guys don't use it more.

To the OP: Angelique's advice is excellent. ...and having ladies you have seen white list you couldn't hurt.

Again, I will check out the provider who did the white listing to make sure she it reputable.

But it's awesome when the guy is contacting you at a time when his reference might be asleep on the East Coast and you can see from the white list that she has seen him (I have no idea why some ladies wouldn't accept that as verification unless there have been cases when accounts of reputable ladies were hacked and false white listings were given to someone - you have to check how reputable the lady who gave it is or its just like a non-qualified reference).

I know everyone keeps saying to sign up with Preferred411 or Date-check, but most girls will still ask for references on those sites if you don't have any "Okays" (it's similar to white listing) from ladies on the site. I know I won't. Preferred411 even warns us to still do screening beyond the screening they do if it is a new member with no okays. Membership alone does not verify you, it just makes you somewhat safer to see than a total newbie.

So, to me, a guy on TER with multiple white listings from many reputable providers is much safer to see than a Preferred411 member with no okays!
