The discussion boards are moderated - meaning a person has to approve your posts before they go up. After the moderator gets to know you he may unmoderate you in which case your posts go up immediately.
I just had the same exact problem. I thought maybe the credit card transaction didn't go through so I tried it again, but IBILL says I'm already a customer (ie, the 1st transaction DID go through). I've tried reclosing/relogging in, and using different browsers...still BASIC membership showing. I also submitted some other posts yesterday...they aren't up yet. Is the service always this spotty?
