Inconsistency (Webpage reviews to TER)

Her webpage seems to be the real deal. However, on there she has links to TER reviews as well as others. When I click on her TER links, all I see is "provider not found! The provider info is no longer available on TER." It seems kind of fishy to me. Should I go through with the visit?

First, if you are newbie, do not see anyone unless they have several positive reviews, each made by someone with multiple reviews to their credit.

Second, one potential benign explanation for "provider info no longer available on TER" is she had two separate pages and someone turned in a problem report and got them merged into one. She may have linked to the ID that got dropped on the merge.

Do a search here on her phone number or name, and see if you can find a profile. If not, then with no reviews, you should avoid until you become more seasoned and your hobby radar becomes more attuned.

Third, you can make a new post here asking for info on this person, and include a link to her website.

If the provider is "delisted" on TER is can be because she requested it for personal reasons (relationships, retirement, child custody, legal problems) in which case she can have them restored at a future time.
On the other hand, a provider who is involuntarily delisted it's usually for self-reviews, allowing her computer (same IP address) for reviews, only violations of true reviews.  Discussion of specific delisted providers is not allowed.
It would seem unlikely for the provider to link to reviews she'd requested to be taken down.  Sometimes, providers will advertize "TER Reviewed" but if you read the reviews, they are horrible.  I guess they realize the minority of clients are TER VIPS & newbies will assume they are "good".  We've all made those mistakes...
