I am new on the board but have been with three providers so far in the last 6 or 7 months. How do you get them to give you a white list referral? Is it appropriate to ask them? If I understand it correctly that means they are vouching for you, right? I asked about this to the provider I was just with two days ago and she wasn't sure how to do it, partly because she said her english is bad. Is there a link or something I could text to her? She is listed on TER.

Yes, it's OK to ask for a white list. I usually ask in an e-mail or TER PM a day or two after the appointment. Simply ask and leave it at that. If she does great if she doesn't that's fine too
